The ASRock Extreme4 was $139 before. I returned mine already a while ago. It was a great board while I had it and am waiting for that to come back to Newegg's shelves. Plus they are automatically extending the warranty by a year on their B3 boards.

I was thinking about getting the GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4 how are these boards in general? I love the all black look of it...
I get the feeling that Newegg, Tiger Direct , Microcenter are seemingly peddling the low-end boards 1st.
I just ordered an ASRock P67 EXTREME6..
I'm usually one of the bone-heads that orders the wiz-bang boards when they first come out for $400, but I thought I would try out a something a bit more on the mainstream side this go-around.
I don't really consider a $200 board low end..... ya know?
The exterme6 is suppose to be a nice board; but quite frankly I personally don't need any of the extras (over the extreme4) so unless it uses better capacitors or similar build issue I just assume go with the 4 (the extras seem to be raid; more ports; ; even more sata slots (12) vs (6); 18 phase vs 10 phase.
Also since the B3 boards have come out shipping is a bit higher on these; I think the extreme 4 was like $160 shipped prior to recall. Then again if microcenter gets the biostar xle in stock I might go that route; it is a 2 mile walk which isn't too bad.
Also should point out the Extreme4 and 6 are the only 1155 boards I've seen that still have a floppy connector.
I know most dont care but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside having it there

But no IDE connector, and I have a ton of those drives....
I did not see any at all with an IDE connector. Wish there were some as well.
the asrock Fatal1ty P67 Professional has one. but it's not in stock yet.
