It's worked for most other blockbuster entertainers and it keeps working because people love it. I really like Eminem, even though I don't like other rap or today's abortion that's called R&B -an abortion from classy blues and Rhythm&Blues. I usually enjoy almost all of each of his albums and he's a pretty good entertainer. His "return," if that's what he's planning, should be pretty good.

So? Lots of entertainers take a stage name (Marshal Mathers takes Eminem). Then they usually play other characters in things (Slim Shady). Rabbit was just a nickname for Marshal that his mom used to use, not some "alter ego."

It's like Ali G playing his other characters. Ali G is his stage name and he plays other characters with other names. Wow. Oh my GOSH it's so confusing!

I happen to think Eminem is a damn good rapper, I didnt like his latest album... but I certainly don't want to see him dissapear because I'm always interested to see what he comes out with, it's usually fresh and interesting. Which is far more than I can say about the majority of modern music.
