Damn, they're still milking the Gillian storyline? Don't the writers know there aren't many episodes left?
yeah, it basically skips all of the big Capone years...which is fine, I guess. The show really isn't about Capone, anyway.
Anyway, it should be good. Best HBO show since Deadwood if you ask me.
Narcisse! He looks like a broken man! He turns down the offer from the mob, and they "teach him a lesson". How will he react?
given that it's HBO i thought they were going into some sort of prison lesbian thing with gillian - but nope!
Episode 4 was big letdown. Too much backstory with Nucky, too much Margaret, and little progress was made everywhere else. Michael Shannon shined as usual and was the highlight for me.
What about good old Sally Wheet?
And what's the deal with Joe Kennedy?
van alden has the best lines
'Chester, that would sound better much further away'
'I, for one, refuse to be ruled by fear'
'HUSBAND!'
'Coming, dear'

did i miss something? the feds that picked up eli and van alden - the dark haired guy is undercover in capone's org?

From what I understood, he didn't kill it so much as HBO didn't want to keep paying for it? Period shows like that with the elaborate sets and costumes are really expensive to produce (which is why Rome was cancelled, afaik).
Show is awesome, its really terrible they have to rush/end everything in only 8 episodes
