One of the pieces left out of the movie adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's "2010" was this sub-plot story of the Chinese who launch an expedition long before the US/USSR mission. It's a smaller manned craft, so it's not taken seriously. But the Chinese plan is to beat everyone to Jupiter and refuel by landing on Europa and then convert the water to fuel.

Speaking of District 9...when the hell are they gonna make a sequel? D9's director just made Elysium and the main character just did this movie. Im hoping they do D9 sequel next!

This movie looks interesting. But the sci-fi horror show has been done one too many times already.

Never. Unfortunately. D9 was one of the best sci-fis and one of the better movies ever made.

Yeah, as much I as I would want a sequel, there is a very high probability that studios would screw it up one way or another. :hmm:

Ok, so I'm always up for a sci-fi monster flick, good or bad..but really? The beginning of the trailer and the end are like polar opposite. Why not keep it realistic-ish like hardware failure ect....why did they have to take what was supposed to be realistic and turn it into a monster movie?
