And the Death Star probably wouldn't pose much of a threat. I imagine that a dampening field could be emitted to prevent it from moving at high speed (whatever its max speed is), and if it tries to shoot down a starship, there's an easy solution: fly to the side opposite the super laser. Or just use some torpedoes on the laser emitters; not like the Death Star (1st one) has any substantial shields. And a torpedo could take out the shield generator of the second one.

Yeah, wasn't it Star Trek 3, that the Excelsior had transwarp, but Scotty sabotaged it?
The quantum slipstream wasn't a crystal as I recall; wasn't it just a way of using the main deflector to create the slipstream? They did steal a transwarp generator from the Borg once though.

Also, at the close of the Voyager series, they came home with some advanced weapons and armor technologies. They probably would go and destroy the technology because of the temporal prime directive or some crap like that. You got the technology, might as well use it. A spread of transphasic torpedoes would make short work of the Death Star.

as far as in space... tie fighters don't even have shields. you throw rocks at them and they blowup.

and for the ground war. think Hoth. does that army have any chance against whatever unseen Star Trek ground forces there are?

and weapons will always outdo the armor/shields/defence. just the way it is. if you watch TNG Enterprise vs some Romulan or Klingon ship, after about 3 shots one of the ships is disabled. it isn't cause their sheilds are weak, its cause the weaponry is so far advanced.


and look at the computer in Star Wars... wimpy.
and some noob pilot has better aim then their best targetting scanners

also i remembeted that in one episode of some star trek... i forget which one. they encountered a species that used lasers as weapons. They mentioned that lasers were very primitive weapons and did absolutely nothing to their shields.
if im not mistaken all Star Wars weapons use lasers.

In Star Wars...the large cruisers are very very slow as far as I can see, they hardly move at all....that's how the death star is able to target and destroy them.....federation starships appear much more manoeverable.

Can I restate that we are talking about Republic Technology at the end of Episode II and Star Trek Technology at end of TNG / Beginning or DS9....so any future late Voyager or Empire technology and ships should not be included.
