X-Files still rocks the imagination. I agree the show took a sharp downturn after Duchovny left, but to say the X-Files only had one good season is ridiculous. If that were the case, the season DVD sets wouldn't be selling like they are.

Was disappointed to see them kiss. Lamers.

Yeah, Chris Carter knows that the show went all to hell after Mulder disappeared. At least he brought back both him and Scully for the series finale, so the show can have the ending it deserves.

Actually it should have stopped after the fifth season. Up to that it gave us
one of the most funniest things I've seen in Jose Chungs From Outer Space episode.
War of the Coprophages, Anasazi finale (which has to be one of the best season enders forget
pregnant friends), aaaah by far in it's first four seasons the best written and produced show
on tv.

Not exactly... it's a long story. But then, if you watched the final episode, you would get the gist of it. They're covering the entire history of the show pretty well.

I have been watching the Xfiles since the beginning and I must say this is a dumb series finale so far. Really weak.

I don't know about you, but watching the Cigarette Smoking Man get burned alive made the whole show worth watching

Ok we got a few answers..like what happened to Mulder's sister..the role his father played...but what exactly is the truth? That the government is run by aliens? That the invasion will happen?

Dammit...it was going so well in the first half...but the ending was garbage..didn't give me the closure I needed!!!
