I just saw it and it was awesome. A lot better than Arrow. Arrow was a bit cheesy in some of the things that they did. The flash didn't have any of that cheese.

It was also the 90s. Special effects were . . . primitive.

I can see where he's coming from. I feel the acting in Arrow is bad. CW tends to hire pretty actors without caring if they can act or at least fit the role. Then there's all the cheesy action sequences like the final fight of the last season. The final fight was horrible.

They should bring back Amanda Pays too.

Arrow isn't a bad show, but it definitely has issues with poor acting (mostly from extras) and cheesy (the bad kind...) dialog. I still remember the scene from the episode where Nyssa (R'as al Ghul's daughter) comes to Star(ling) City. She gets in this guy's car, and he just blurts out his line in what has to be the worst acting I have ever seen apart from utter shit-fests like Birdemic.

The Flash isn't too bad with this. It does have a bit of cheesy dialog and hammy acting. However, since I saw that in the trailer, I wasn't terribly surprised. I think the biggest benefit is that it avoids the largest issue with the original Flash TV show: no villains. The first episode focuses heavily on one of the Rogues: Weather Wizard (sort of).

Although, I am wondering one thing... (this is stuff that contains information from the comics, and it may spoil reveals from the season!)

It's pretty obvious that the "lightning" that Barry saw as a kid that killed his mom was Professor Zoom (or just Zoom). I pretty much picked up rather quickly that "Detective Pretty Boy"'s last name is also Thawne, which happens to be the same as Professor Zoom. Do you think he's the baddie or will the secretive doctor be the actual mastermind?

I had thought so, but everyone that told me it picks up all understood what I was talking about. Maybe it's one of those shows that works better on the long haul, but it's very possible it's just me. I can't help but think it's pretty people badly playing a Batman rip off, only with Arrows added. I've been told that later on they move away from the gritty (not sure how that works with such pretty people) 'realistic' faux-Batman stuff into the costume super hero stuff. No clue if true or not, I put it on when I've nothing else better going on.

Also saying the best television DC show isn't saying much. DC hasn't embraced it's costumes and lore like Marvel has. If anything they have a history of running from it on TV. A good case in point was Smallville. All those years and no one called him Superman.. it's like they're ashamed or something. Gotham doesn't look much better as it really looks like a True Detective with a Batman backdrop.

I have a watched all arrow and flash episodes.

Obviously arrow is better. Flash's characters are less interesting. I like their wheelchair bound boss and the Mexican (?) tech guy. The girl is s bit of a tight ass and not in a great way and the flash himself is a bit of a penis. Moreover, the show is all full of inescapable inconsistencies. Really, a guy who can essentially slow time would never lose a fight, but he does often. Also stuff like if you hit this guy at Mach 1.2 you take him out but any slower and you will die, it is stupid shit.

Arrow is cheesy of course but more believable, and the characters are better. Basically all of them are awesome except for the state attorney ex girlfriend.

Oliver is good, felicity smoke is awesome, diggle is good, slade is a total boss, Oliver's sister is hot, pretty lips (Malcolm Merlin) is awesome. The whole show is ridiculous but very entertaining.

Crossover was cool even if we really know who wins between arrow and flash. Their first fight though it was somewhat convincing, which surprised me.

Flash is like th stupidest guy ever though that he can run so fast but still be challenged. I think an interesting flaw in the character should have been that he tires very quickly so cannot do that running around for long.
