yeah "Any Man" off of Sound Bombin comp #2 is amazing. His old battles are nice too. Common is my all time favorite (with a little bias since im from Chi City)

The problem is that its not hip hop then. Its no different then a boy band or britney spears. Its some random chorus that people can sing in their car or in a club, along with pointless filler verses. It will play for a month or 2 then be replaced with something else exactly the same.

The best rapper of all time is Rakim. No need to dispute or argue. Just listen to Follow the Leader and Paid in Full, and realize that those lyrics were written in 86-88. This guy was too ahead of his time, almost no one is even near his level of skill (in his time, or even now), not to mention all the classic albums that he had.

Rakim is the closest to perfect in the world of rap.

biggie made up a lot of his own words. His hooks were catchy and had hot beats along with a cartoonish voice. thats about it. doesnt equate to best rapper.

White people are obsessed with being 'gangster' so they all LOVE tupac. Black people are more apt to like biggie more as he was rapping about social conditions and a lifestyle and coming up poor. where as tupac was more 'oh I'm a gangster..killing people etc etc'

Sure, he can spit at times.. but he has absolutely no classic albums, and few classic songs. He has freestyle ability, he rarely shows off his real skills, but most of his stuff is trash and dissing Christina Aguilera, NSync = not hip hop.
