So why did you post. And your signature shows your noobness, along the content of your post.
Would not wireless headphones super cool.? Or are you just too cool for that. It doesnot have to be apple. Some company needs to inovate. Just I'll bet my bottom dollar they do it first.

This seems like a logical next step. Does Bluetooth have the bandwidth to be viable for file transfer?

Fortunately audiophiles wouldn't be caught dead listening to an iPod, so that's not an issue.

Actually that's not true. For a portable system, not too much can beat an iPod line out to an amp, and even more so since they're rockbox-able.

Are you smoking crack? You mention it being portable, but then you qualify it's sound quality with an amp? Who carries an amp to listen to their iPod?

A lot of people do. Ever seen the Xin SuperMicro?
Come on, dude, there's a reason there's a market for portable amps. I'm a regular head-fi visitor, so I know what I'm talking about.
The reason iPods are very suitable for amping is because the stock iPod sound is quite neutral and non-colored - perfect for an amp. They're also popular and small, which doesn't hurt.
Maybe you don't carry an amp with your iPod - I know I don't carry an amp with my Sleek - but a lot of people do, so don't think that what you do is what everyone else does.

No, it absolutely does not. Transfer speeds range from 20KB\s to 40KB\s. Not really practical for transfering music. I know this from trying it myself.
I know. Just spreading the head-fi loveOriginally posted by: QED
You have to take everything Nebor says with a huge grain of salt.
He's the some guy who claimed he had his Ipod Nano modded with a 10GB memory stick. When pressed for details, he of course never responds...
