well, i have ****ty luck. i washed my car and not only are there ****ing water spots everywhere because it didn't dry (even though i bought stuff that was streak free...go figure) when i used the microfiber cloth on the bumper to get off a bad stain (it was a bug or something that wouldn't come off) it SCRATCHED the ****ing bumper!

i want to kill myself. anyway, what product can i order (right now) to get rid of it? and the best website to get it from? i think the bumper is plastic, but if i can get something that would work for both plastic and metal that'd be great.

someone reccomended meguiars scratch x...any ideas? the color is metallic grey if it matters (07 camry)

i would think the only way to remove it is using a soft cloth and rubbing it out with some type of gentle cleaner(not a detergent or anything), scratches wont matter from something that small unless it took some of the clear coat/paint away with it. the hardest method usually pays off the most.

How deep is the scratch? I would assume it isn't that deep, that you could get some rubbing compound to get rid of it. I've used Meguiars recently to get some scrapes/scratches out, worked very well. Keep in mind there are different grades of it, some for light scratches, some for medium, etc.

Just take it to a professional detailer and get their opinion. Depending how bad the scratch is, may not be able to get it out by hand.

dry your car with a chamois. definitely don't leave it there and left the water drops evaporate. as for the scratch, i don't have any experience with that, but good luck.
