So I can vote for a career criminal who only cares about himself and the special interest groups that financed his campaign and intends to rob me to give money to the poor or a career criminal who only cares about himself and the special interest groups that financed his campaign and intends to rob me to give money to the rich? Wow, what a great use of my time.
Are there no other criteria on which to judge them, like one eats his bread with the butter side up and the other with the butter side down? Or one's tax package goes too far and the other's doesn't go too far enough?

Without knowing anything about you or where live, I'm going to guess you have more than one office to vote for. Plus I'm sure you have various prepositions to vote on.

I'm registered but I still need to research all the local measures on the ballot.
My favorite preposition is "excepting," that one definitely gets my vote.

Honest question, why do you need to register to vote if you're American? Here in Canada we get a card in the mail when it is time for election with your name and vote station near by, bring your card and driver lic to the station cast your vote(pen and paper) and get out. in and out in like 5min usually.

Well, if they're taking your money anyway, it's probably better that it goes to people who need money rather than people who don't.

Gasp! Drivers License? It's just a ploy by Republicans to force poor people and potential Democrats from being able to vote ! It's an unfair burden and evil !

Right Paratus?

My goodness, just look at all the things that Canadians can use as id to vote in a federal election. Note: The id regulations are set by the federal govt. alone although provincial elections tend to be pretty similar as to id requirements.

hoping to kick ted cruz out of office. i know it's a long shot though
In this totally not scientific anecdote: In my neighborhood there’s a knot of 8-10 houses with Cruz signs and a roughly equal number of Beto signs spread thought out the neighborhood.

So it’ll probably be closer than any other senate race in Texas in the last several decades.

Shhhh I hear a voter purge coming!!!

But seriously I live in one of the bluest parts of one of the bluest states in the country... I just show up to vote on one or two candidates and the propositions, then go home.

It's weird how people will vote for someone they've never even heard of because they have a D or an R next to their name.

Real Clear politics moved it from the toss-up category to the Leans Republican.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2018/senate/2018_elections_senate_map.html

44 Dems - 7 toss-ups - 49 Republican

I still say Cruz wins by about 10 and Republicans pick up 3-5 seats.

I'll be voting early, often and Republican.

I'll also predict a Ted Cruz win.

All Democrats this time except for Molinaro the Republican because screw Cuomo, who has as much of a chance of losing as Hillary if all Republicans suddenly dropped dead.
