I vote in every election and the retirees running the show know my wife pretty well at this point.
We don't have to show any ID.
We show up, sign our name and address in the book and then vote.

I'll be voting early, often and Republican.

I'll also predict a Ted Cruz win.

LOL no you won't. You can stuff the ballots in P&N all you wish but IRL you only get one vote and the puppet master has already spoken. nice try upvoter lmfao

I'm in and really looking forward to a good showing by dems. I am grieved by the spread of trumpism. Its appalling that people are so ignorant of history they can't see it unfolding right in front of them.,

I know some people I know just want the payday increase and fatter 401's, its ludicrous to think trump has some magical touch. He took a strong Obama economy and deregulated the hell out of it.

So your bet offer is that if Cruz wins by 9 points or higher you and your sockpuppets will leave these forums forever?
If sock puppets refer to those holding views opposite yours, I'd imagine this forum would be quite dead if you 'win'.

No it doesn't. It's tough for you lefties, but occasionally bother to look up information you don't know FFS.

Shhhh I hear a voter purge coming!!!

But seriously I live in one of the bluest parts of one of the bluest states in the country... I just show up to vote on one or two candidates and the propositions, then go home.

It's weird how people will vote for someone they've never even heard of because they have a D or an R next to their name.

Not that hard to understand. In my opinion the GOP stands for everything I'm against, and doing it in especially-populist fear-mongering fashion these days...I will not vote for a republican dog catcher until the party gains back some semblance of sanity. I have voted for republicans before, but not since the Ken Starr days. Climate change alone means I'll vote against them, but it's far from the only issue. Makes for easy voting!

Waiting for my Soros cheque to arrive in the mail, then I will decide if I am voting or not. Gotta get paid!

Still registered, just waiting for my ballot in the mail.

Hopefully eastern Oregon kicks out Walden. That Paul Ryan toadie hasn't done crap for the state.
Last I checked, Walden was racking up the highest level of pharma donations in Congress. Gotta make sure those Medicare dollars don't fall into the wrong hands (meaning the people who medicare taxes).

And yes, I am registered to vote in Oregon (independent, 1st district) and will be voting by mail shortly after receipt of my ballot.

I'll vote as usual. I don't get vote by mail. Last I checked, you had to pay for this privilege. My polling place is a few doors from me. I zip over there on my bicycle in ~30 seconds.

Who is Eleni Kounalakis and Ed hernandez? You think you're pretty politically savvy until you read your ballot and don't know who half these people are. Thankfully most of the positions i can just vote democrat but Lt. Governor has 2 Dems.

I'll certainly vote. When there are state constitutional amendments on the ballot there's no excuse not to. Except maybe if you're confused by them, but in that case the best thing to do is to vote no to everything.

I just filled out the first page. Voted for De Leon. The next 3 pages are all these Judicial appointments. I'm voting "No" on all of them.

You gotta starve the beast.

Honest question, why do you need to register to vote if you're American? Here in Canada we get a card in the mail when it is time for election with your name and vote station near by, bring your card and driver lic to the station cast your vote(pen and paper) and get out. in and out in like 5min usually.

Because our elections are designed for there to be low turnout, which is critical for Republicans to get voted into power. It's why you have to register a month in advance in some states. It's why election day is always on a Tuesday that is not a federal holiday. It's why there are voter ID laws in Republican states. In the US we're a much less democratic nation that you guys up north. If everyone voted we might get a sensible healthcare system like you have.

So anyone else live in a ridiculously gerrymandered area? My federal house district is safe Democrat while my state house district is safe Republican.

What if the GOP enlisted USPS workers to selectively censor their mail-in ballots based on things like what car was parked in your driveway or what your ethnicity was? They could be secretly removing votes from anybody who wasn't white or didn't drive a pickup truck.

There are so many voter suppression schemes the GOP could be perpetrating. The possibility are endless.

Registered and almost ready. Still reviewing local issues and state amendments. Political ads on TV are getting desperate.
This is Florida.
