I think at least part of is just anger at the media being taken out on the girl.

Simply because if those 3 kids has killed her, they would've confessed by now. Unless they were incredibly ingenious in hiding the body somewhere no one expects, we would've already found the body by now...(Then again, they could just dump her to feed the sharks).

This is utterly preposterous beyond belief at this point if you bother to think about this logically. (The sharks part is plausible the sex slave part is not.) Basicly kidnapping an American under these circumstances is just about the riskiest possible way to aquire a sex slave. (Riskier would involve something like killing a bunch of secret service agents and then kidnapping the Bush daughters to use as sex slaves.) Why they wouldn't have counted on this amount of publicity, this kind of kidnapping is guaranteed to create considerable publicity under any circumstances. If you insist on getting an American, luring someone over on a modeling contract or the like makes far more sense. Basicly a white American who presumably has a clear American accent is going to generate alot of attention in much of the world, Unlike the overwhelming majority of sex slaves, she would know all she needs to do is get attention from authorities in the country she is in, and she will likely get quickly rescued and get to head home. Its not like she deliberately snuck into another country illegally in the first place, which is the case with many sex slaves.

Even more significantly, there is not way in h*ll any organization with sex slaves would have risked keeping on holding her once they realistic how much publicity, including international publicity, the case is getting. All they need is one single person to recognize her, and she most likely physically stands out from most of the people in the country she is in, and the whole organization holding her is screwd. A very large number of people, including those most likely to have have a sexual interest specifically in a caucasian blond woman in the first place, would be likely to recognize who she is at this point. Even if the sex trafficers have an arrangement with the local police, that won't do them any good when the US governments comes down on the country like a ton of bricks and demands they rescue the woman and arrest the perpetrators. If an organization had been involved with her initial kidnapping, they would have quickly released her somewhere, and then quickly taken steps to hide their tracks.

Lets have an example, on Barbados it is illegal to wear camoflauge. No amount of secuirty is going to save someone from their own stupid mistakes or from associating with the wrong groups of people.

How about all states pass resolutions asking residents to ban travel to all other states who have unsolved murders? That would be a hoot!

I guess Alabama residents can't make their minds up about going to Aruba or not unless their government passes a resolution about it. Waste of time and taxpayer money.
