Google is taking away your First Amendment rights to free speech, DO NOT let them!

Google is now enforcing their requirement that their ads not be displayed alongside any discussions that involve "Google Product Abuse."

These Gestapo tactics need to stop and you need to stand up for your rights!

You forgot to actually read the announcement.
"If you have any questions or wish to express your opinion on the matter, we simply ask that you limit it to a single venue: Personal Forum Issues. The other forums aren't really appropriate, so we would appreciate it if all discussion could be contained solely in PFI."

First Amendment says government shall make no laws abridging the freedom of speech. Government. GOVERNMENT. GOV-ERN-MENT.

What a company puts into its terms and conditions is not governed by the first amendment. Don't like it? Use a different ad company.

That is not a violation of free speech. This is a private server that uses a private ad service for revenue that had conditions to adhere to. You are still free to say whatever the hell you want, you just can't blast Google on a page that runs an ad by Google.

not even that; you can't tell people how to illegally steal videos. you can say that google blows as much as you want, it's just that "breaking the law" bit they are very upset about.

Oh my goodness, not being able to discuss youtube downloaders will cause the intarweb to come to screeching halt. Oh the humanity, who will save all the lost bytes?
