To continue the speculation
GTX Titan 2: $999
GTX Titan: $799?
GTX 780: $499-599
GTX 770: $400-450
GTX 660 ti: $300-350
The biggest question I still have is if they will be voltage locked. I suspect they will because they will try make you purchase the performance (no free oc or very limited).
I just can't see how this makes sense for Nvidia. Unless they are hoping to ride a tide of GPU upgrade fever coinciding with E3's showing of next gen titles?
I would think it would make far more sense for them to just wait to release this rumored generation until the ps4 and xbox next come out and ride that wave of upgrade fever instead. Maybe the gtx6xx series aren't selling that well anymore? Who knows, but this move baffles me from my forum troll CEO position.
i think you mean GTX 760 Ti (which is a clock bumped GTX 670) at USD 300.
i think you mean GTX 760 Ti (which is a clock bumped GTX 670) at USD 300. AMD seems to have a Hainan GPU core with 1792 stream processors and 256 bit memory for USD 300 that will perform on par with this card. so for gamers there will be 2 good choices at USD 300.

AMD will have to push HD 7970 Ghz to USD 400. I am surprised as to why AMD could not launch the Tahiti update (Curacao) by now. if AMD had released the update there would have been competition for Geforce GTX Titan LE and GTX Titan. this would have meant better prices for the consumers. very disappointing from AMD.
Well the pricing is purely speculation at this point.
Even 599 would be a slap in the face of Titan owners. Titan would only be about 15-20% faster than this 780.
But I'm glad Nvidia is pushing more memory, that are some nice numbers!
Im Curious about the 760ti, because it essentially looks like a 670, but faster and for $100 less which effectively kills the 670.
Im bummed as I just got my 670 for $340.. so for $40 less I could have bought a 760ti.
We are talking of stock vs stock.
A 7970ghz at 1200mhz is well within 10-30% of a oced titan

^ yeah, saving that $40 would clearly be the best possible usage of that time machine you've got parked in your garage.
10-30%?....thats a big margin and is that at 1080?...I realise we all exaggerate, but 10% slower than a Titan?, please!
Depends on what the benchmarks say...
