I hope it doesnt stop there, getting the proud boys is like getting the skin heads of a neo nazi organization, its the dum dum foot soldiers, not the puppet masters.

Not quite sure who you think are all the "puppet masters" but I'm pretty happy that the chairman of the entire Proud Boys organization Enrique Tarrio and Stuart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers, are both among the few who have been convicted of seditious conspiracy.

So far Joseph Hackett, Roberto Minuta, David Moerschel, Edward Vallejo, Elmer Stewart Rhodes III, and Kelly Meggs, in addition to today's 4 have been convicted of seditious conspiracy. As far as I know, none have been sentenced. From what I read the max for that is 20 yrs. A couple of them are due to be sentenced this month, so we shall see what they get. I would hope for more years than the 10 or 7 some others have gotten.

Stewart Rhodes is scheduled to be sentenced May 25, and yesterday the Justice Department asked for 25 years. This is the first sentence they have requested for a seditious conspiracy convictee. We shall see.

Wonder how those white supremacy nationalist militia-wannabe’s feel, what with all that prison time being handed out to them because of a “conspiracy story.”

It's a conspiracy to frame them and take away their freedumbs. Also, anyone who didn't get significant jail time, or no jail time, are obviously government agents.

Peter Schwartz was convicted last December of 10 charges during a jury trial, including four felony charges of assaulting, resisting or impeding officers using a dangerous weapon. Schwartz’s prior criminal history of 38 felony convictions dating to 1991 was a significant factor behind his sentence.

Today he was sentenced to 14 years. 👍

Real law and order types in other words. Blue lives matter.

Who's been hiding this case? First time I seen a challenge to the obstruction of a government proceeding. Anyway, looks like the DC panels probably going to decide in favor of the government, but I have little doubt that this will be appealed to the ethically crippled SCOTUS.

Oh hey, will you look at that:

3 FBI agents took part in the insurrection and covering it up.

Watching that shitshow hearing on Fox. They covered the first part before they went to vote. It was not really going well since these witnesses made extremist statements on Twitter, were repromanded, ect, by their superiors (which is why they had their clearances suspended). In other words good reliable citizens.
When they came back from voting, Fox started to cover it again, then gave up.
Keep up the good work Gym.

They asked for 25 years and got 18. I can live with that.

Oh, and what is with that eyepatch? The idiot destroyed his eye after accidentally shooting himself in the face (LOL), but he has a glass eyeball which he wore in public photos until a few years ago. He must think the patch makes him look like some kind of scary badass. Ah well, I guess the skinheads will protect him in jail.

And Kelly Meggs, Rhodes' co-defendant, also convicted of seditious conspiracy, was just sentenced to 12 years. I recall that the prosecutors did not ask for as much time for Kelly, but I don't remember how much it was.

I'm sad that it has come to this. We have people convicted of seditious conspiracy. It's insane.

At the same time, I'm glad they were prosecuted. It shows, however flawed, that the justice system does try to work.

We need to do more. Votes matter. Get the shit head politicians out of there.

Jessica Watkins, another co-defendant of Stewart Rhodes, but who was not convicted of seditious conspiracy, was just sentenced to 8.5 yrs.

The judge said "“Nobody would suggest you are Stewart Rhodes, and I don’t think you are Kelly Meggs, but your role in those events is more than that of just a foot soldier. I think you can appreciate that.”

Ah yes, the transgender Oath Keeper who is an adamant supporter of the political party that is fervently trying to suppress the rights of, ***checks notes***, transgenders. It's amazing that the FYGM of these people has extended to gender/hormone treatments (looking at you Caitlyn Jenner).
