I'll grant you duct tape and a gun alone doesn't mean you are ready to commit a crime. Duct tape is damn handy as a homeowner. And as far as weapons go, I got rid of my hand gun when I first had kids.

While there weren't a whole lot of details on how those items were found, I'd wager they were found together.

Regardless, you can't really excuse running around the capitol building with an axe.

Her website really shows how stupid she is …. She talks about how it is her right to protest peacefully then complains how she is going to jail about her vandalism / etc.

MAGA logic at its finest

Did they find the person who stole the laptop yet? I heard a long time back on the news that they did find the computer, but not the suspect.

'A member of the Proud Boys extremist group who went on the run after he was convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the U.S. Capitol and then allegedly faked a drug overdose after he was caught was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison.'

He tried hard to avoid the consequences of his own choices.

These ongoing convictions that are piling up is glaring proof of what they did was against the laws of the land, laws that they themselves announced to the world that they are the party who are the protectors thereof, and all of what's going on here that points to their culpability is going to/is being conveniently ignored, brushed aside as if it never happened. And if they get their way, this insurrection they perpetrated along with much of the history that makes them look bad as a political entity is either going to get rewritten in their favor or simply expunged from our historical record as a nation.

This is what dictatorships do. It's their SOP. They're already doing it at the state level wherever they have their states locked down in conservative hell, ie - Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, et al. So logically they're now fixing to run the federal gov't the same way. I'm certain there are millions of fellow Americans who are fine with ditching democracy as a means of governance so long as their party is the one that's doing it. It shows up in the polls all the time. Repeat: They are just fine with living in an authoritarian state so long as it's their dictator at the top and that's over 70 million Americans willing to go there.

- It will actually be used as evidence of oppression, my MAGA FIL already compares what is happening to the J6ers as equivalent to Soviet style kangaroo courts (and he even says it to people from ex-Bloc countries who look at him with pure confusion).

Lol no he won’t. Only ones that can help him somehow. But the next R POTUS would
IMO he's more than petty enough to do it simply to piss off his opposition (ie anyone who tells him not to), and shit all over the J6 consequences. Remember, he doesn't think they did anything wrong, after all.

He's all about that spite (and reversing consequences for things he had a part in).

Yeah, I'd expect the Trumpers to look for ways to excuse their actions for what it actually was/is in order to keep the faith in party over country. The Republican party is not the one that existed when Tricky Dick Nixon got his comeuppance because that party gave up its core values the moment they decided to go all in on defending Trump's numerous acts of malfeasance while totally ignoring the damage the nation sustained, much of it in the form of the resultant damage he created after leaving office.

As usual, whatever damage the GOP caused the nation during their tenures in office will of course be blamed on the incoming Democrat administrations that have the dirty task of cleaning up the mess the Republicans left behind them. And in typical GOP fashion, whatever damage they caused while single-mindedly further enriching the oligarch aristocrat class of America is handled in a way that speaks to their shameless hypocrisy and matter-of-fact upright in-yer-face lying in order to point their crooked corrupted fingers at the Democrats as the ones who are to blame for every act of malice the Republicans were/are responsible for.

edit - replaced "incurred" with "caused"

He's campaigning on it and it's within his power.
Lol you believe anything he says? The only honest thing he’s said these past few months, it would be a revenge tour. Everything else is only done out of greed. There’s absolutely nothing in it for him to sign a thousand pardons.

You aren't even close to "getting" Trump.

Trump gets to "own the libs" and pander to his base. Two things that Trump likes to do.

3 runners in Florida arrested.

Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III .

"Olivia Pollock was set to go to trial on federal charges related to the Capitol riot last March, but did not show up to court in Washington, DC. Her brother, Jonathan Pollock, has evaded authorities since he was first charged in July 2021. "

"Prosecutors have accused Jonathan Pollock of punching two officers in the face, kneeing a police officer, dragging an officer down stairs, charging at law enforcement with a flag pole, grabbing an officer’s neck and pinning them to the ground and ramming a police shield into an officer’s neck."

All 3 are are facing several charges for what prosecutors allege was a coordinated assault on several police officers.

Add in the fleeing, eluding, whatever the legal charges are, and hopefully it will add up to convictions and long sentences.

I fully support all J6 insurrectionists adding fleeing charges to their sentences. The party of "we want to be hard on crime, no not those criminals" at work once again.

Wonder if they'll let her have the bullhorn in the clink?

Lol only the best people. She’s apparently been under house arrest the past 3 years. But she’s finally reporting to jail this week. She was interviewed. Shows absolutely no remorse. Still questions 2020 results. Her son met the orange monkey. He’s “promised” to pardon her. Her only regret was damaging property and have to leave her 8 children and 6 grandchildren!!! She’s 42!!!!!!!!

Wow, she's blowing Boebert out of the water! Boebert was a grandmother at 36, but has only a single grandchild.
