Oh, I almost forgot the All Dressed chips we bought. I've read about these for years here on the forum but this was the first time I got to taste them.

It's subtle but I get it. I know they are just the Lays brand but they taste good.

I got some "All Dressed" boutique chips from Canuckistan. Well, I got them from biglots, but they were made in Canuckistan. They were alright. I might get them occasionally if they were common here, but I prefer plain chips.

I know you're the food guy around here so I hope you like chocolate.
We bought these at a local candy factory. It was a great tour and it tastes delicious!

Canada continued to surprise us and we loved how the packaging was also in French. Just another lovely quirk of Canada!

Doesn't Quebec also require many businesses to also translate their brand name, which is why you see PFK on that package?

Yeah logos and such have to be in French. PFK is Poulet Frit Kentucky. I think the French wording has to be bigger than English as well. Stop signs and other such signs are also in French. Arret instead of Stop.

Just got back from a 10 day trip visiting the Niagara area of Ontario Canada. This was our first visit to Canada and while I know it was a cliche' area to visit we have nothing but great things to say about Canada.

The views, the people, the food, and everything else about our trip was just so much fun.

While we were walking the historic district of Niagara on the Lake we walked into a gallery and purchased a piece by a Canadian artist.

It is semi-monochrome piece titled Sparkle Today by Jordan Hicks.

This is the best of all the pieces you bought, by far.

Just got this for one of my bikes. I have seen it on a friend's bike, and from tons of research, if this size is good for you, this is definitely one of the best designed and produced handlebar bag and mounting system of all

Santa came early and even left the keys. Purdy.

Niece's car.
I love her color choice! Grabber blue Mustangs look amazing. I feel bad for all the people who mistakenly picked or were conned into buying any color Mustang other than grabber blue, especially all of them that chose some shade of silver or grey.....

Here is a pic of mine......I might be just a little bit biased toward the grabber blue color.

I am part of the cult now, I bought a brompton last night. After using the Tern for a couple weeks and taking it out a lot, I loved it in general, but the fold of it was too big and bulky, the drivetrain side was on the outside of the fold, which got me dirty a couple times, it was awkward to carry in the tight spaces I needed to. So that one is going up for sale. I got a bigger check than I thought this week so dropped a couple large on a 6 speed C-Line Brompton in Orange blackout, with the orange stem to boot. Plus a bit on some accessories. The tern showed me how much more I would bike for shorter trips if I had a small bike, but it was just not in the right package when folded. Super excited to be taking my car out less, plus having such a convenient way to just pop into mass transit with a folded package that is truly compact enough to do so with, and then ride to my destination when I pop out. BIKES! My only regret is not realizing this about ten years ago - the amount of times I could have utilized this thing are just innumerable.

I feel so blessed to live where I don't need to rely on a car so much. Walkability, bike ability, mass transit ability, are just some of the most valuable things I have accessible to me. And this bike is just going to increase it exponentially. Hooray

Finally upgraded my portable 5,500 watt generator from a huge, heavy, clunky, loud @SS pull start gasoline only. Bought a small, light, electric start, Dual Fuel, Quiet, inverter 3,650 watt generator. Less continuous wattage, but still more than I'll need for essentials during the storm season. At 1/4 load it est run time is 14 hours on 2.25 gallons of gas and 21 hours on a 20# Propane tank. Massive improvement over my old generator that would run about 7.5 hours on 5 gallons of gas. The electric start is a dream over the pull start on my old one.

Just completed the breakin run and I can't even hear it running from inside the house and it is very quiet even standing next to it.

Total cost was $808 US Dollars.

Swapped out the generac 5500 a couple years ago for an inverter 2900, iirc, to have clean power for electronics. These days, the fridge is an electronic.

Those older generators are hell on electronics. Now everything is smart electronics.
