I'm an RJ Reynolds guy myself but I get it.
My every day, all the time tobacco is Swedish snus. That's going away also. Nicotine pouches have caught on with the youngs, and that's what's really selling to the detriment of real tobacco. A lot of brands are going away, and my preferred form, loose, is almost non existent anymore. I order that from Sweden.

Got the mini Q rack and better wheels and totally nerded out today. Ran a couple errands and then last stop was a grocery store. Put the Brompton in shopping cart mode, used the handlebars to steer with. The design is such so the bag is right in front of you and situated with the top easy to access. It's nice because I know how much room I have left. Then wheeled it to the self checkout, which is most of the cashier area now, and rode home. Pretty fucking amazing.

For a larger grocery run I could use a backpack, but there are stores I use a car to get to anyway if I want. Or walk to. Depends what I need. I needed a specific cleaning powder that this one had.

Fit a decent amount of stuff in the bag, and there are bigger versions.

I got these bag clips & loooooooooooooooove them!

Cheaper option, if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks for shipping:

Basically:

1. You fold the bag with a horizontal crease (paper, plastic, etc.)
2. You line up the pulley stick inside the tube under the crease
3. You pull the stick over to crease to seal the bag, like a vise

Part of my ADHD includes dyspraxia, so stuff like closing bags drives me a little nuts sometimes lol. I LIVE off those Ziploc-slider plastic bags, haha! These sticks are on the pricey side, but are SO NICE!! Plus you can seal angled cuts, like cereal bags!

Bought a cheap trail cam and tested it at home, and for the price it's actually not that terrible. Even has a LCD and has a basic menu with options etc. Does video and still images. Runs on 4x AA batteries and has a plug for DC input. Going to put it somewhere on my property just to get an idea of if anybody goes on it when I'm not there, and get an idea of what kind of wild life passes through.

There's no cellular connection and it's local only but eventually I want to just install regular security cameras or wifi models and have a cell modem. Cheaper to just have a central internet solution than to pay for a dedicated service for each device.

Caught the cat red handed on the counter. Maybe I need to actually have one that just stays here lol. Catch the cats doing all sorts of naughty things when I'm not around.

The image quality is nothing spectacular but for $50 I can't complain. If this proves to work decently I might buy a couple more just to put in different areas.

Those zip lock bags fail half the time anyway, you open it, and the zip lock itself is stronger than the glue holding the strip to the bag, defeating the entire purpose!

I never buy store-brand bags for EXACTLY this reason! And I only buy the Freezer bag versions due to the increased thickness.

I've found that the easiest way to seal single zipper bags is to find several spots along the bag where you can push both sides together and feel it click. Once you've done that in 5 or 6 spot, you can easily slide thumb and forefinger along the zipper to completely seal it.

The problem with single zippers is that they constantly 'jump the track.' But if you have them pre-aligned, it doesn't require much effort to complete the seal.

I would highly recommend buying reusable silicone bags. Put an end to human body poisoning ziploc microplastics and single use plastic garbage. I discovered them after I started washing my plastic bags because using them once and tossing them felt gross. Not buying them at all is even better.

Also the zippers on the reusable ones are way better and they can go through the dishwasher.

I reuse bags other stuff came in, and seal by folding/binder clip. After it's been used once, it gets demoted to used cat litter duty.

Bought my stepson a Dewalt cordless/impact drill combo. Came with 2 lame batteries (1.3ah) but honestly it's enough for him. Him and his wife just scored a newly remodeled, new to them house on her grandparent's property. No mortgage or rent, just have to pay utilities. That bastard got lucky lol.
