That does look oddly satisfying. I also have batteries all over the house located in places like bedroom closets, in the kitchen junk drawer, bedroom nightstands, the family room, ect....they are just everywhere. When you get it let us know how well it works.

I've had one for a couple years, well worth the fifteen bucks.

testing my new 4k BR player, 3 disc set (get the expensive version with individual sleeving, 2 of the discs have scratches)

the disc root menu navigation is pretty slow and laggy, worse than 1080p blu ray. the options and menus are pretty straight forward with way more settings than i would know what to do with.

the big thing i am finding is that 4k disc are so dense that any surface defect will make the player stall or lag. supposedly part of the problem is the manufacturing process at the factory where they dont clean the disc properly of all the chemicals or the packaging case off gasses on to the disc.

i may have to look into a disc cleaner/polishing machine.

Just picked up an Amazon fire stick. Use will be plex, and I’ve come to determine that the fire stick can play PGS subs natively without forcing a transcode to paint the image. Huge win for reducing workload on the plex server, especially with 4K HDR files

I think it is safe to say I'm hooked the Legos Botanical Collections. I just bought and put together the wildflower bouquet to go with the other two. I think I'm going to take a little break and decide which one I want to build next because there are so many pretty ones to choose from.

Wow that wildflower one is really nice. I made the succulent one and I like it a lot but my cat also likes them so that's been a bit of an issue lol

You really have me tempted to get that wildflower set and see if I can keep them cat free. That would look great on my little table

You should get it! Out of the three I've put together so far this one is by far the prettiest and you can arrange them anyway you like just like real flowers.

If you decide to pull the trigger get yourself some knockoff 1x1 translucent blue plates to simulate water at the bottom of your vase. I spent $12 on Amazon so I can add to the look.

That is why Most of my power tools are corded. I only use battery powered tools for extreme portability requirements (Drill and Impact Driver are the only battery powered tools I use). Corded tools have much more torque and I don't have to plan around dead batteries, keep an excessive number of batteries on hand and charged, Storage space.

I have long extension cords and a 5K Inverter Generator. I'm good to go.

I have a Dewalt impact driver I found in the road, and a Milwaukee chainsaw. The driver I just use cause I have it. It isn't something I really need. Manual tools are fine. The chainsaw is nice for certain things. It works great as a saw to keep by the chipper, and I use it for quick stuff around the house. It's not an essential tool, but I'm glad I have it.

I'm a little ambivalent about battery tools. They're convenient, but they can also be a PITA. Quality seems to be hit or miss also. There's a whole new class of problems you don't have with corded or 2stroke.

I LOVE cordless power tools especially for residential applications!! I'm also an unapologetic DeWalt fanboy. lol

I've got 3-nights at Hidden Springs up in So Humboldt and another 6 in Elk Prairie in No Humboldt for June. First time camping in Elk Prarie as we are usually up in Del Norte.

The insanity of booking campsites 6-months out continues...its an annual tradition.

I've camped at Albee twice - and drove out to the Lost Coast for a epic fall Sunset (10/6/18), then the full loop back through Ferndale.

The Albee bears that hang out in the old orchards in the evening are pretty startling the first time you see em - then you realize they are just part of the scenery.

Ryobi corded, burned out x2 (last week of June 2021)
Dewalt corded, burned out too with a diamond drill bit trying to make a hole in porcelain tile (First week of July 2021)

Both were under warranty and I returned them but I got tired of corded and got into RIDGID because of the lifetime service agreement (just incase the same thing happened past the warranty date).

It still works.

So far in cordless I have:
Ridgid Drill
Ridgid Impact Driver
Ridgid Sander
Ridgid JigSaw
Ridgid Cordless Saw
Ridgid Router
Ridgid Track Saw (my most recent addition after I got a Home Depot Gift Card)

Also have a Ridgid corded Table Saw and Mitre Saw.

Obviously my stuff is not as good as Milwaukee/ Dewalt pro line but it's not exactly trash either like Ryobi!
