It's Seasonic and Noctua combined. Most millionaires/GPU enthusiasts WANT it.
Yeah, probably? Haha.
Still, don't see why this PSU would be of interest to scalpers to resell on eBay for $1000+?
That seems like a nice psu.
Yes, I kinda like SeaSonic. Have been using their PSUs for probably over 10 years, never had a problem with them. And here they are in collaboration with Noctua, I couldn't resist

What's $1000+ to a 5090 owner who just paid $3000 or more for the privilege of the chance to burn their house down?
Maybe you're right, although I still don't really understand why someone who paid a lot of money for a 5090 would buy a PSU from eBay scalpers? Wouldn't it be easier to get an analogue from Amazon?

That's why the scalpers will make sure it isn't available on Amazon and you know when a 5090 owner wants a specific thing, they will go for it no matter what. Otherwise, they will feel empty inside.

I had a chance to get a 9950X3D for a little over MSRP but still way less than my local cost. Then the seller is like, oh no. Shipping internationally is too much trouble. I was like, oh ok then. If something in the Universe was created specifically for me, I will get it, just like you got your Noctua PSU. Otherwise, it wasn't meant for me. That's how I keep myself from going broke

Another example just today: I ordered a laptop. Thinkpad P17 i7-10850H. It said RTX 5000 4GB. The price seemed to reflect that but in the back of my head, I was like, wouldn't it be nice if it turns out to be the actual 16GB one?

And that's what I got. A workstation laptop with a 16GB graphics card in refurbished (like new) condition for $575.

Meant for me I guess. Thank you, God

Yes, that's obvious. But I meant that you can go and buy a similar PSU from another manufacturer on Amazon or Newegg. With PSUs, the situation isn't the same as with GPUs nowadays, where if you want or need a high-end video card, you have no choice but Nvidia.

As you said yourself, Noctua is very desirable. I spent considerable time thinking about getting an ASUS 3080 Noctua for I think $250 more. In the end, I was able to perish the thought

It seems so. I didn't think Noctua was that desirable, though. Everywhere I looked for this PSU, it was out of stock, but then I saw a message from Noctua, where they said that it would be restocked in March. So I decided to wait, and last week I managed to buy it on Amazon.
If I hadn't managed to do it, I would have just bought some other analogue

GPUs now are out of control power usage wise. Going to be interesting once they hit the power limit of a 15 amp circuit. They should really consider adding just having an AC connector in the back of the cards now so you can run a dedicated 20 amp circuit straight to the card instead of needing to run so many amps over 12 volt lines from the PC's PSU and needing such a big PSU. Just skip that part entirely. Connector probably not to scale but you get the idea.

Well.....it is that time of year so I got some mower blades. I decided to go with some that are made in the USA so we will see how they perform. I also got some oil, air, and fuel filters on order. I'm planning on doing my annual maintenance this Sunday. The weather is suppose to be crap so no better time to get everything out of the shed and into the garage for its annual servicing. Besides the mower the trimmer and blower will also get its annual service this weekend.

The Coco Mats that I ordered a few weeks ago for my Mach-E showed up today. I got them color matched as close as possible to the exterior color which is Grabber Blue. They are hand crafted in SC and are made to order. The quality is top notch and I'm really excited with how nice they look.

Spendy for a car mat, but they really do look nice. I'd consider something like that if I had a nice passenger car rather than a work truck.
