after running plex server more than a decade I bought the lifetime PlexPass
the only thing it relies on is redirect. unless you are counting the metadata fetches.I was looking into Plex originally but didn't like the fact that it still relies on cloud to some extent. Went with Jellyfin instead. It's 100% self hosted.

Yes you need an account. Not that hard to create an email address. My plex login is not my main email address.Doesn't it require an online account as well though for you to even use it? Or can it run standalone?
Asshole. I took your advice :^DJust do it! lol
lol honestly if I needed to make an electronic purchase, I would've done it also! I looked at some used hard drives on goharddrive and they went up like $20-$30 than when I was looking at them like a month ago. I don't need new drives, but was planning on adding storage to my server. Guess I'll be waiting a while longer now!Asshole. I took your advice :^D
Just seems pragmatic to buy now, and the price buying through Visible is good anyway. Got a MotoG Power. After a couple months on Visible, it'll be unlocked, and I can switch back to the 2024 Power for internet, and use the 2025 phone as my primary on Tmobile.
I also saw they have a new higher level plan. For an extra $75/year, I can get an extra 5Mb/s on the hotspot. I'll get that plan when it's time to renew sometime this summer.
Wish you best of luck in that endeavor. I lost my moobs when I went down to 54 KG. But have since went up to 70 KG and while the left one seems ok, the right one has ballooned in size. Not that bothered by it unless I have to take my shirt off in front of someone.I'm losing weight, went down 2 pant sizes so far, but I feel like my moobs are really showing now. My goal is to drop another 10-15lbs(but also gain some muscle tone. Hopefully these shirts will just be a temporary thing and my moobs will reduce as I lose more weight.
Yes he autistic. Oh we we tried different pizzas. We tried 4 different pizzas one day, surprising how different they all were. We, and he, tried to like different pizzas, but they just did not make the cut. He would choke down one and a half pieces and say he is done. We went to a lamppost last weekend and he ate 4 pieces. It just annoys me being wasteful. The phone I'm using is a couple years out of support, but it works great. Will it work great for another 4 years? I don't want to get two years into this disaster and pay twice as much for a phone. I'm not super concerned about security updates. I keep a low profile, and don't install everything that's offered to me. Updates are better, but it isn't the end of the world running out of date software.
Hank, do I remember right that your son is autistic? Could you maybe make a fun night having a pizza sampling party? Get a bunch of different (local)pizza, and see if he likes anything.
OK, this could be bad advice. But what if you taught him how to make a pizza. Then he makes it the way he likes. It's a fun activity for him to do and he may actually like eating it because he knows exactly what he put in it and thus he will be able to figure out the "ingredients to taste ratio" (if that's an actual term). You never know. He could become a renowned chef. Autistic can sometimes just mean more intelligent than the rest of us, mostly painfully so.Yes he autistic. Oh we we tried different pizzas.
Possibly some cross-linking between the visual and taste neurons. The way sometimes when you are eating some particular food, you remember a song that played when you were eating that thing in the past. Or when you hear that song, you get a craving for that particular food. One thing we cannot figure out is that he only eats orange food.
Ever taken him to a large buffet and see what he will eat from the wide variety of dishes? He eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, spaghetti with meat sauce and McDonald's french fries with ketchup. So he eats bread, meat and ketchup. Put it all together into a McDonald's hamburger and it is a big no. He took a little bite and almost threw up.
TBH, any hamburger isn't as good as a PB&J sandwich or McD French Fries so I understand thatPut it all together into a McDonald's hamburger and it is a big no. He took a little bite and almost threw up.
I'm almost that guy but usually stick to something unless forced to change due to unavailability or whatever. Don't like trying new stuff. Ate biryani rice (no meat or chicken) for dinner for three months straight from a nearby restaurant. Changed only coz it didn't help the way I thought it would (long story). And I also love going through heaps of stuff that others find boring, only because I like the thrill of discovering something fascinating (Spock fascinating). And yes, I wish everyone was Vulcan. They are just more logical. It's pretty useful having someone like that around. He had the interest and patience to through data I'd get bored with after 15 minutes.
