I've had a Motorola MB7621 24/8 DOCSIS 3.0 modem for about 3 years now and it's been rock-solid.

At the time DOCSIS 3.1 models were at least double the price and offered no tangible benefit other then being slightly more future-proof.

Motorola MB8611 cable modem and TP-Link Archer AX10000 router

I had a TP-Link modem and router for the past 7 or 8 years. I had already been thinking about moving to a DOCSIS3.1 modem, and when my Archer AX50 router started acting up and dropping speeds, I decided to replace both. I wasn't planning on going with TP-Link again since they've gone to a subscription for full router functionality, but the model I ordered includes the sub for life so w/e.

You can probably warm up two tacos at same time with that too. That's a lot of antennas!

Lems Primal 2 sneakers. So these are a wide toe sneaker with a very low stack height of 9mm (amount of material between foot and ground) and also zero drop (heel and forefoot are on the same level, none of the usual drop between heel and front)

This is to act as a shoe approaching barefoot and should encourage a midfoot strike and better posture.

Man they feel great. Long dog walks feel good, my toes can wiggle around freely. Much better than the traditional narrower toe boxes.

Counterpoint; it also depends on your overall diet. Personally I don't drink soda or eat many sweets so it wouldn't matter much.

Pretty! How does it sound?
Truth be told, it needed some work outta the box. Nut was too high and it wouldn't intonate properly. I was always gonna upgrade the nut anyway, so I have a new one on it now and it was a huge improvement. I'm gonna sand it down just a hair more so it's not glued in, but I'm already stoked. Replaced the pickups too. She was born a looker, but with just a little help she sounds great and plays great now.

A buddy of mine has a small business making guitars. I don't know what sound you like but I will say the craftsmanship on his is f'ing unbelievable. They're pricey but his dedication to beauty and precision is impressive.
I'm curious if you know his company name/brand. There's lots of luthiers out there doing boutique builds. I'm sure his are great, just curious if I've heard of them before

Beast is nearly four times the size of my NUC! Largest router I've ever seen/used, and likely the largest I ever will. I considered wall-mounting it, but didn't want to have to find a stud, lol.

Bought a 1995 chev 3/4 ton from a woman in town whose husband died in an accident at work 4 or 5 years ago and his truck has just been sitting. She still has a few properties and wanted the money to pay property taxes. Runs and drives like new. Covered in bird shit and spruce needles but'll clean up alright. Might see about buying a property from her for one of my brothers, but going to wait a bit as she's lonely and wants my "company" if you know what I mean. Maybe she'll cool off. Life's already complicated enough.

The dual dock has a drive duplication ability I think, but they were both mainly just sata-to-usb docks. I prefer them to factory external drives in enclosures where the drives can't breathe as well, and you might be getting subpar drives.

Outside of an actual NAS, I didn't see much in docks by 'big name' brands. They were all kind of semi-crappy or crappy no-name Chinese generics. These were SSK branded, and do well (so far) for full drive speed and transfer rates. I had gotten a Synology for a while, but found it overkill for my needs.

I think I'm almost at a final judgement on this. The ice melts pretty quickly so I know they're just going for the the bare minimum in terms of the final temp of the ice. So I can fill a 1 pint beer mug with ice, add some beverage or water, and I'm good for maybe 2 hours. The problem is that amount of ice adds a lot of water once it all melts. So since I've been drinking prepared ice tea, I had the genius idea of using that to make ice. But the freezing point of pretty much anything you add to the water, liked brewed tea, is not going to freeze at the precisely the same temp as the water. So you get ice, but it's a bit mushy. And the dilution issue I think is the real problem. So I'm going to swap between the ice machine and my freezer ice for a while and reviews again, maybe.
I was leaning this way anyhow but I definitely have to go with a Consumer Reports "unacceptable." The problem? Those cylindrical holes in the cubes give you the false hope of real ice cubes with oh, so much less chill.

Like all good wines, it is sooooo important for you to "age" your downloads.
I like the hard drive rewinder!
Works great for CDs though. Why such a huge diff?

Anker 577 Docking Station....not by choice, I'll add. My wife's shitty Dell work laptop had a short or something and completely fried our old, cheaper dock.

Silver lining - the Anker doesn't use shitty DisplayLink like the previous one...it's also 2x the price as the old one but is built like a fucking tank. Love me some Anker products.
