Amazon is having a 20% off sale on their Basic line of products if you spend $50 or more. Stocked up on toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen garbage bag. Saved $33 … not having to worry about garbage bags for a year is a good thing 😂

The mid torque M18 1/2" impact gun and a couple of5AH batteries.

I have the same one, probably my best tool purchase yet. So satisfying to use and makes lots of otherwise annoying jobs easy. The batteries seem to last a really long time too.

Hard to beat it for 169 for the bare tool. My brush motor Ryobi was ~100 when I got it. That thing;s dead, Jim.
We have the 1" version at work. Beast of a tool, and beats dragging a bunch of air hose. Reasonable weight as well. Saw someone using it as a hammer the other day to knock loose some u-bolts rusted onto a spring pack on a tandem which pissed me off, but it still works. It does say "impact wrench" on the box, but apparently some don't realize that's not what it means. Modern cordless tools are a godsend though. Light years ahead of where they were just a few years ago. I hardly ever bleed anymore when I have to work in the shop.

A new TV! Incredible how much TV one can get for so little money, relatively, nowadays.
70” LG <$600

It really is pretty bonkers. I setup a lot of WFH clients with TV's for screens. You can get a 65" no-frills Sceptre for $378 from Walmart or a basic 50" 4K for $228 lol. They have a 58" Element with a Roku built-in for $199 next week:

How do you like the "fold" mechanism itself?

Any issues with image-distortion in that area of the screen?
It seems like they did a reasonably good job with the screen. There's alway a visible dip where the split is though. You don't really notice it. At least I don't, but I seem to have this preternatural ability to screen things out - except when I really need to (f'ing stupid ass brain).

I was hoping that opening and closing would result in a satisfying detente-type click. But for this model (don't know about previous ones), you can half fold it so you can stand it upright to take a picture.

Also, for such petite little thing, it's pretty heavy. The "drug" scale says 189.1 grams or 6.7 oz. That doesn't sound very heavy until you stuff all of that mass into a very small package.

Should've gotten coffee. At least with that, you're guaranteed to win a cup of coffee.

I've been all up in Amazon the last few weeks, preparing for the trip.
I am installing these speakers in the dash, my truck was the base model without the infinity system but the holes are there. This will make a yuuge difference, especially for an old deef equipment operator.

A buddy online shipped me some clarion crossovers that he had so I can parallel them with the new door 6x9's

I also got a little wifi camera to watch over the truck and trailer while we sleep.

It never gets easier and we still persist in sharing lives with animals...at least one can smile when remembering the joy he/she brought to you and vice versa.
I'd love to have some indoor kitties but the only way I ever did that to begin was . . . reasons (long story). Anyway, not really an option for me and I don't have the energy to test adoptions. But I do like imagine they're still here. It really is sort of comforting.

Jabra Evolve 75 for the office. Going to use my Plantronics PLT Focus at home. When you make this many calls, this is pretty damn important equipment.
