Just saw it a couple hours ago. Great movie. Pixar makes me laugh and feel like a kid again *sniff*

Took me 5 minutes to finally recognize who was doing the voice of Mr. Incredible. Then I got all warm and fuzzy inside and started having Coach flashbacks. All of the voice artists in this did a fantastic job, even Jason Lee as Syndrome. Will definitely buy it on DVD.

WOW thats just awesome, it looks like they just filmed barbie dolls and spliced em in. AMAZING. One of my favorite parts was definately the credits, very original.

Shoo... I know what you mean, when they cut to the shot of them after surfacing from the water... holy cow, I about cried.

Then when Dash started running on water, and realized what he was doing, gave that nonchalant "heh" and started running even faster... I wanted to stand up and cheer. Totally fronted Jesus right in the face.

It's either depressing or amazingly brilliant when action scenes in animated movies overtake action scenes in filmed movies (though the lines between the two are becoming increasingly thinner).

Oh, I agree. I just wish something like that could happen.

Does Disney retain the rights to the Incredibles or will it stay with Pixar? I'd love to see a sequel along the lines of a Toy Story 2, but if Disney owns it, it'll probably be another traditional animation straight-to-video like the Buzz Lightyear cartoon.

I think Disney owns it.

Disney retains the rights to Incredibles and the upcoming Cars.

LOL.

The movie rocked, here I am a 24 y/o male who went and saw a kids movie on a Saturday night with my 24 y/o male friend its a sad day.

But the movie was funny as hell.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

BTW I had no clue there was going to be a Star Wars trailer before the movie and must say it took me completely by surprise when it came on the screen, looks good if you ask me, but I'm a pretty big fan of the movies.

It was a good movie. Not as much laughs as i thought it would have though. Plus, the middle of the movie (when Elastic woman visits the costume lady) kind of died, but then it came back alive when the plane was taken down. That said, great movie

Finding Nemo was great, tought to choose which is better between the two. But I don't know how they'll top this movie, Cars doesn't look that great so far...

It's going to be sad, I doubt there will be any worthy sequels unless Pixar gets its way. Otherwise, Disney will shop it around and they'll turn out a crappy release banking on the brand.

When I saw the preview for Cars, I felt like they were really trying to target a new portion of American audience. Particularly the southern portion. Don't know if I could enjoy it, but I've been wrong before.

And Disney gets the rights to Cars as well.
It's the last movie Pixar has to put out for Disney.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Nascar... now if they had done it on rally racing or le mans... that would have been kick ass. Both are international races, they could've targeted a MUCH larger fan base. But Nascar = middle America. Damn I don't like Nascar... freaking left turn racing. I suppose it takes skills, but it's not that exciting to watch.

I liked it too...the details had my eyes glued to the screen. Mr Incredible's hairline was facinating to look at....the hair in general on the characters was really well done. That whole James Bond thing at the beginning was great too. Not a "hold your gut from laughing" movie, more of a "Wow...that was a good story" movie.

Oh...wth was that Sheep short before the movie? That was pretty lame.

I thought it was a lot funnier than previous Pixar flicks. Maybe it's because I have kids so I could relate, but I was laughing so hard I was in tears when the kids were fighting at the dinner table.

Great movie all-around. The Pixar guys are geniuses when it comes to making movies that both kids and adults will like. That is what I loved about Toy Story. They managed to throw a lot of adult humor in without making it an adult movie.

Someone asked if it was a big kid or little kid movie. My 4 year old says she liked it and she did seem to enjoy parts of it, but I could tell she was pretty bored for a lot of it. There were a lot of things she didn't get. My 7 and 9 year olds absolutely loved it.

I thought the movie was great... made me tear up a bit in two scenes: the first was when E-girl was flying into the island the missiles were launched, and Mr. I thought the family was killed, and started sobbing when Syndrome walked out and Mirage was walking out, and the second was when Mr. I told E-girl that he wasn't strong enough to lose them again, near the end.

Saw it again today, this time at a better theater (Cinerama in Seattle). I didn't laugh quite as much, but it was just as good/better because now I could look around and pick up on in-jokes and other things I missed the first time through. Really just an excellent film.

It *almost* makes me wish I had kids, just so that I could share it with them.
