thats really a lot more of what people belive them, Z3775 igp should be performing way too close to Intel HD2000. Double of that is significant, it could outperform or match Haswell GT1...

And the bottom tag: "All IA Platforms are 64-bit ready". Is that why their 64-bit capable Tablet Atoms, ship with a 32-bit UEFI, preventing popular 64-bit OS installs from booting? (Windows)

well, in a 1 and 2gb system i rather have 32 bit windows, and you cant have 32 bits Windows with a 64 bit UEFI... in any way, i do belive there are 64 bit BT systems around.

I thought that it was the other way around. You could load a 32-bit OS, with 64-bit UEFI (admittedly, I haven't tried this, but why would that make that incompatible, when 64-bit BIOS could load both 64-bit OSes and 32-bit OSes), but not the other way around, without some severe workarounds.

My N2830 laptops are BT-M, and they came with 4GB RAM, and 64-bit Windows 8.1 (w/Bing?).

Edit: Even on a 1-2GB system, I think I would personally prefer to run 64-bit OSes, to take advantage of 64-bit programs like Waterfox. Then again, that might be sluggish with 1GB RAM, I don't think 64-bit Windows really likes to run in 1GB of RAM. Maybe 2GB.

UEFI64 only boots up the 64 bit uefi loader in Windows(it will not boot up the bootia32.efi), and it can only load up 64 bit windows files.

You cant do it in either way, uefi 64 = 64 bits only, uefi 32, 32 bits only.

There is one thing i dont understand, why BT tablets and devices en general are going for HDMI, and paying royalties, instead of using DisplayPort. Even the mDP is too big?

From over 100 Z3770 results there is only one result with a ST score of over 1000. So the answer is no, it isn't slower. But it would be poor if this is the fastest CHT SKU at launch nevertheless.

Much better now.
Atom X3 is SoFIA, Atom X5 and X7 are Cherry Trail-T.

The new names will give buyers a quick sense of the level of technology that they’re getting in mobile devices. For example, faster X7 chips for high-end tablets may have better graphics and more wireless connectivity options than X5 chips. (Of course, devices with more advanced chips tend to carry higher prices.)

Perhaps Atom X5 is the 8 EUs version while Atom X7 comes with the full fledged 16 EUs iGPU.

I am not sure if it is going to be any clearer. In the core lineup, i3, i5, i7 delineates a basic difference in the configuration of the cores. Not sure how that will play out here.

Maybe i3 will be dual core atom, i5, and i7 quads with different graphics, IDK.

Not completely. Core i7 for example has 2 cores for U and M branded CPU's, and 4 cores for MQ, etc. Far as I know there's no difference in core configuration between i7 and i5 U family CPU's.

Moreover, the enthusiast desktop CPUs with 6&8 cores are i7 as well.
