x7-Z8750: 1.6 GHz chip with 2.56 GHz burst and Intel HD 405 graphics
All of processors are quad-core chips.
Update: Intel is also updating three of its Braswell chips. In January the Celeron N3050, N3150, and Pentium N3700 will be replaced with new models with higher burst speeds and named graphics.
Celeron J3060: 6 watt dual-core chip with Intel HD 400 graphics
Celeron J3160: 6 watt quad-core chip with Intel HD 400 graphics
Pentium J3710: 6.5 watt quad-core chip with Intel HD 405 graphics
Dont put too much into base clocks as such. See i3 6100U vs higher i5 models for example. Its due to the way turbo contra regular down clock works.
The only real way is to test it.

Closer to the 2.7GHz they originally chased.
Last stop till Broxton.
Apollo Lake coming H2-2016, info about SKUs later this year. 6W and 10W versions, separate notebook and desktop SKUs again?
Someone here told me it was called "Braswell" because the graphics were supposed to be a frankenstein of Haswell and Broadwell generation iGPU technology meshed into Atom, I think :hmm:I am really, really, really annoyed with Intel about this by the way :/ Why not just release those as Silvermont v2? That's basically what they were...
It originated from Digitimes. Yeah Digitimes and WCCFtech what a nice couple :biggrin:This page is so stupid, the guy has no clue. We already have Atom X3, X5, X7. Also Core m5/m7 is starting right now.
They are referring NOT to Silvermont..... but to Goldmont ones....It originated from Digitimes. Yeah Digitimes and WCCFtech what a nice couple
Sources familiar with Microsoft's plans have revealed that the rumored Intel-powered Windows 10 phone slated for May 2016 has been cancelled. Instead, an all-new flagship phone lead by Panos Panay and the team of engineers that built the Microsoft Surface and Surface Book has been given the green light. Slated for a release in the second half of 2016 this may be the long-wished-for Surface phone. Here is what we know and what we don't.
Intel's connection to this project is the most tantalizing. Many speculate that this will be a device that runs an x86 chipset or is something much more powerful than current Qualcomm Snapdragons. The ultimate vision some of us have is that such a device could not only run Windows Store apps but classic Win32 apps. A true computer in your pocket.
Could this be the x86 Continuum phone we were asking for?

Broxton fits the bill.

The Asus Chromebit may be the first PC stick from Asus that’s available in the United States. But the company isn’t limiting its PC-on-a-stick products to models that run Chrome OS.
A few months ago Asus introduced a Windows stick called the Asus VivoStick, but we noticed that the company also had an Intel Compute Stick clone called the Asus QM1. Now it looks like the QM1 is getting a hardware update. European retailers are showing listings for a new model with an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor.
The new model is called the Asus QM1-C006 and it has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4a connector, a microSD card slot, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. The stick measures 4.4″ x 1.5″ x 0.4″ and ships with Windows 10 Home Edition. It looks a lot like the Asus QM1-B002 model we saw earlier this year, but that model featured an Intel Atom Z3735F Bay Trail processor.
The new model sells for around 179 Euros ($194) or less. There’s no word on if or when it will be available in the United States, or how much it would cost in the US.
Lenovo has released their most innovative tablet yet with Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro. The newest tablet features sleek unique design and also comes with a projector which is the first among the handsets and tablets in the market today.
A projector that can project an image up to 70 inches on any surface and can be turned to 180 degrees is what the latest tablet from Lenovo offers. As reported by News T8, the new tablet also flaunts its 10.1" display with 2560x1600 pixels and 299PPI density.
It also features 2.24GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through micro-SD support up to 128GB. The tablet also features Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, along with a massive 10,200mAh battery which can last up to 18 hours...
But why would you want to stream from a console most likely attached to a tv or large monitor to an 8 inch tablet? I also wonder between normal internet latency and the wimpy processor, how much lag there would be.
