that's my question
A year ago, 16 Gen8 EUs seemed great. Today, Intel is again behind the competition with Mobile Kepler and the ~400GFLOPS Series7XT. Lol, that's almost as much as a 2013 desktop IGP.

Witeken, I thought you were a fan of Intel's products. What changed your view?A year ago, 16 Gen8 EUs seemed great. Today, Intel is again behind the competition with Mobile Kepler and the ~400GFLOPS Series7XT. Lol, that's almost as much as a 2013 desktop IGP.
I don't consider myself a fanboy. I'm a fan of great products. I can't be a fan of products that don't exist or will launch too late, can I? Reality typically has a bias towards Intel: for example, I haven't seen a single company besides Intel launch a product or even start production of FinFET transistors; the most significant change of the transistor since the invention of the transistor. Reality still hasn't favored Intel in the mobile space. Moorefield shouldn't have launched in Q2'12... companies are only now starting to catch up to this performance and (probably still a year until) power.Witeken, I thought you were a fan of Intel's products. What changed your view?
I don't doubt that Intel puts a lot of effort into its mobile campaign. But I want to see them in lots of popular products. But yes, I agree, Intel really needs to ramp up their mobile efforts. I think more OEMs would use Intel if they had a integrated radio like Qualcomm does.

Im hearing that you can "trick" the IGP of lower Bay Trails, say, a Z3735D, intro having the turbo clocks of Z3770 by changing the ID in the driver, i gona have to check that out and report back.

The first smartwatch with Silvermont (I think):

Yes, I bet it's some ARM Cortex-M microcontroller.seems like overkill for silvermont, even the downclocked ones in edison
Yuck.
Need more watches like the Moto 360.

During the panel discussion she likened it to the way that Intel treats its Edison chip as a platform for the "Internet of things" as opposed to a commercial product.
I don't know:
Well no, I'm male. But I don't particularly find it interesting from a women's fashion standpoint either. You don't belong to the target market, I suppose. It's a niche product...
