Is there hope or is it hopeless.

We have gone over this topic for sometime now. Have any conservatives begun to suspect there may be something wrong with their thinking? The evidence is profound that when it comes to political inability to compromise, the conservatives are the ones who are defective. But even that obvious fact seems to be denied by them. They are too pure of morality to compromise with evil, no?

Oh, so you dug up your old bone.

You talk about compromise, how many House bills has the Senate passed? Or even allowed a vote on?

You want to talk about fear, I'll introduce you to CO2. Or maybe the 10 commandants.

Speaking of mentally defective, the OP posts this topic so often it's probably fair to diagnose him with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. No one else would continue putting up this same thing over and over again like he's the ATPN version of Dustin Hoffman's Rain Man.

It's his online attention-getting mechanism. He has to continue to reinvent and refine himself in stranger ways until he can no longer do so and come crashing down hard when nothing works anymore to satisfy the need.

The inevitability shouldn't excite me, but I have to admit it kind of does. And the fact that I won't be there when the crash comes, is even better. Does that make me a bad person?

Start your own thread if you have questions. Surely you didn't think I wouldn't know the kinds of conservative responses I would get to a topic about which conservatives continue to be in denial or that I would be bothered by them. My question is, seeing how predictable the CBDs are over and over again, does it ever occur to you how hopeless you must feel? Like a horse you swish your tail at your ass in perpetuity rather than thinking about taking a bath. It's the smell of shit, you know, that draws the flies. It's a wise fly that knows how you flick your tail.

The bigger question is why is this continual posting of the same topic over and over tolerated? Somebody's either got friends in high places or shares an account with someone in a high place. There can be no other explanation.

Of course you understand that anybody who could appreciate my thinking would have to be in a very high place indeed. Knowledge can't be given to those who don't deserve it, but it can't be kept from those who do. All my life I have run into a few people who shine with the same light that shines in me. I would not under ordinary conditions, blow my own horn so, but I have taken it upon myself to pointing out the flies on your horse's ass so that together we can find a way to make you also worthy.

I worry about the mental stability of someone who keeps posting this stuff over and over. The OP would probably be a prized specimen within the psychological community. Imagine such a case of Saul syndrome... so severe in fact that he cannot even recognize that he has a problem.

So...

I have to assume that you don't expect a different result occurring due to your own posts. To assume otherwise would seemingly apply the edification you provide to yourself.

It does seem our Congressional members do suffer from an expectation inconsistent with their actions but that is consistent with the wants of the folks who vote them into office. Is compromise beyond the capability of the Congress and verboten to the electorate or is it, "my way or the highway". It does appear to be some sort of problem to expect full agreement when not all folks think alike.

What do you think?

This particular dead horse has been flailed to a nubbin.

A priest and rabbi were standing in the rain waiting on a bus when the priest remarked that the wrath of God was upon us. The rabbi commented that climate change folks made him sick... Soon a young lad came upon the two and remarked about the beauty of the rainbow now appearing. The priest and rabbi thereupon in utter contempt left in different directions not wanting to take a bus with someone so in tune with the reality before him... and them.

Ah, Moonbeam's alter ego shows up to offer his support.

Soon a young lad came upon the two and remarked about the beauty of the rainbow now appearing. The priest and rabbi thereupon in utter contempt left in different directions not wanting to take a bus with someone so in tune with the reality before him... and them.

Your problem is your commentary doesn't work. Name me any one priest or any one rabbi who was ever disgusted by someone commenting on the beauty of nature.

That was no priest if he left when a young lad showed up.

Contempt not disgust.

These two particular individuals shared the same notion. One felt the only way to deal with the lad's comment was to render it worthless while the other likewise was determined to hold on to the misguided notion that the priest was thinking something 'earthly' was occurring but the priest had a more supernatural causation in mind. Making moot the Priest's assertion by the lad by showing the reality was equally met by contempt by the rabbi.

Same in this thread, it seems.

Must have been a Jesuit.

If the electorate deems a rock to be black and you, the office holder, sees it to be white you must proclaim it to be black... (sort of the Ignatius comment) How else can you maintain membership the all mighty source of law... and power.

What was it Colson had on his wall.... 'when you have them by the balls their mind and body will quickly follow' (or like that)

So... It is a matter of anatomy.

Not so sure. I think that the CB Defectives could as easily be referred to as Numb Nuts. The have the gift of making titanic fools of themselves while never noticing a thing.

When you see me post the exact same thing over and over again, and pretty much nothing but that, then it would apply to my own posts.
