Here are some tidbits to help pass the time if you haven't been following his thread. The reviewer in the thread is also chomping at the bit apparently...

Here's a mood relaxing website to help you relax and enjoy the wait for the next 7 hours...
http://moodturn.com/

I also checked out calm.com, but their 'relaxation menu' only goes to 10 minutes. that's about 410 minutes short...

tick tick...

oh wow moodturn is awesome.

WRT the cooling, needing and happens-to-be-using are not at all the same thing...

Reading about the cl5 2951 MHz DDR 3 'world record' now...
http://www.gskill.com/en/press/view/g-skill---world%E2%80%99s-fastest-ddr3-memory-shatters-more-memory-frequency-world-records-in-three-different-categories

This memory sounded really friggin' cool, until I saw the size...
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-16000cl6d-4gbpis-

And here's an interesting article from Toms Hardware, where they tested various memory speeds/timings on a Trinity APU.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/memory-bandwidth-scaling-trinity,3419-8.html

So my 'hard and fast rule' i.e. MHz divided by CL rate, doesn't track well with the results in Tom's article: I.E. 2133/9=237, 2400/10=240, so the 2400 should be a little faster overall, which it is. However, the 1600 CL9 versus 1600 CL7 results show very little gain. Doing a quick search, the fastest CL9 2x8GB I can find on sale is 2133, and the fastest CL10 2x8GB is 2400. Of course, this doesn't take overclockability into account - someone may manage faster timings than CL10 at 2400 with a Kaveri, for example...

Anyways, it'd be nice to see a similar article for Kaveri, to show how the new HuMA architecture will react to various memory timings and speeds.

You are right. My mistake. I read into the following statement too quickly:

* with some leeway, I arbitrarily limited the 24/7 oc params to approx. 1.5V max vcore limit, 1.30V GPU core and max thermal CPU DTS of 62C thereabouts. Then again, you can always push for more within your own comfort zone.

From what I understand CPU DTS is the delta from the Tjmax. So his absolute CPU core temperature might have actually been pretty low. With that in mind, he might have not even come close to 1.50 volts for his Vcore either.
