My system an Athlon 3200xp with 1.5GB Ram a set of Raid 0 400GB HDs on the Silicon Image 3112 Raid controller all running on an Abit NF7-s v2
I was preforming a Vista update immediately preceding the problem. What the update was I think is a non issue. It did seem to take an unusual amount of time to commit the changes 4-5 minutes
Upon reboot my system will only post to just after the RAM detection. It will detect the DDR2 Ultra double bandwidth thing. Pull all but one stick and it will only detect the DDR2 in the proper amount. Pull all the memory and the system beeps in protest like it should
I pulled the CMOS batter and tripped the jumper. The battery tests OK on a volt meter.
CPU resets to the 1100mhz defult
The system will not let me input anything. USB/PS2 keyboards are both unresponsive, no lights from caps or shift lock. So I am stopped just before jumping into the Bios. I've never seen anything quite like it. Any ideas? What are my chances of loading the raid0 set on another controller in a different box?
