lol, that's exactly how I play, too. I always get frustrated when I figure out I'm going the right way to progress and end up having to turn around to explore every inch of the other paths.

I liked the story for winter but hated the blizzard making visibility zero.

Visibility worked both ways. Was easy to stay hidden. Of all the gameplay, I also enjoyed winter the most. From the hunting and tracking, to the alternating Joel/Ellie segments building up the tension, and the whole sneaking around stealthily as a little girl jumping on people's backs holding on for dear life while viciously stabbing them to death with a switch blade while muttering bitterly under her breath "mother fvcker..." as she fades away back into the blizzard.

The instant death bow shots and sneak attacks without using consumable shivs was just so damn fun.

I'm very excited for the DLC for this game. Even though I have no plans to replay it any time soon or even play the multiplayer, I'm keeping this just for the single player DLC.

Yeah I have my ps3 hooked up next to the ps4. I will definately want to play the next dlc they come out with. What an excellent game at surprising you and keeping you alert all the time.

I can't stand how quiet and withdrawn Ellie is for the rest of the game after the encounter with David. That is just eating at me terribly. I want my happy innocent mischievous optimistic little girl back, telling jokes or making guitar noises . Just want to hold her but shes not real...damn it.

So it's a Third Person shooter instead of a FPS, but it's still the same damn point and shoot scheme. I am assuming you won't be forced to do that too often..but when you are...ugh..it is annoying and quickly makes the game suck.

Yes it has shooting elements but it's not a third person shooter. So does uncharted. Uncharted behaves in a similar way, I would say it has more shooting scenarios. There will be times when you will need to use your guns.

Not sure if many would prefer just highlight by holding a button and press another button and the enemy is shot at with no participation from you. That would be dumb. But this element has been in many games before, not sure why people aren't used to it by now.

I'm sure I'll get somewhat used to it as I progress. PS3 is new to me and the analog sticks feel different than the PS2 analog sticks (I still use that regularly). I don't tend to play those type of games on consoles..for that very reason which is why I'm not used to it.

They are awesome.

BTW I agree some are acting absurd over your statement. You're also right: consoles suck crap for FPS (or third person; at the end of the day targeting is done the same) compared to PC--insofar as aiming is considered. Movement is better though, with the analog than the on/off of hitting W to go forward. If you don't play PC games for long enough you'll get totally used to it and forget about it, then you can enjoy them more.
