Being MOSTLY a PC gamer, I hate CLICKERS.
Yes, I made the leap on the BF sale.... 200 bucks a 250 gig unit and 2 games I wanted anyway? But one I did not have the platform to play? No question.....
Last of Us is intense. Clickers OWN my ass. I will undoubtedly fail fast and often. Love the gritty dark effect of the game.
the opening scene set the tone for me.
Really puts the whole survival thing in perspecective.
The new Batman? Loved Asylum. Could not put down City.
BUT, played BOTH on the PC. So with the platform switch; My opinion, this new game, appears to be a button masher to me.
Any advice on Clickers would be MUCH appreciated. I cant distract enough of them for me to proceed in the game. Bit is often my outcome.
Tip 1. Nothing is more important than your shivs. So make it's upgrades the first you do. Tip 2 never have less than 2 shivs on you. 1 For a shiv door and one for a clicker you haphazardly triggered. 3 Stop triggering clickers and stealth kill any runners that may cause clickers to come running. 4. Bow and Arrows. When dealing with infected make sure you have enough arrows and before you wander try to pick off any clickers. But only do this if you are sure A.) That you can hit them in the head and B.) That if you don't hit them in the head that you don't hit them at all.
It's important to get the head-shots because they will go down in one hit and there is like a 90% chance of getting the arrow back. If you don't hit them in the face it might take another arrow to take them down and you might not get either back and it probably triggered all of his friends on your location. If you don't hit him at all you will probably have to write off the arrow, but it won't trigger him or his friends.
I am not fond of the stunning them with bottles and beating them in the head with a brick type playing. I am not fast enough and it usually results in my death.
That's the bundle I got from Black Friday! The single player of The Last of Us was amazing but the multiplayer felt harder than normal (I'm no good at multiplayer shooters)
The first single-player DLC, Left Behind, is out today (it's over 5 GB!)

Agreed. I played original then sold it. I don't have it anymore. This is often the problem with DLC for me; it comes out after I've sold the game. And really coming back to a game a few months later just for DLC seems uninteresting. I'm surprised they do so well. Looking forward to last of us 2I'd buy it if it didn't require the original game. Sadly there won't be a sequel. A sequel is unnecessary though; it would ruin the narrative that they created for The Last of Us. Can't wait to see what they come up with for the PS4 though.
I think they've said a "sequel" is possible insofar as it would be another game in the same universe, but that the story of Ellie and Joel is over. As far as Naughty Dog, I'll probably be holding off on the PS4 until the next Uncharted game comes out. I have nothing but love for ND.
