Yeah I'm about 54%. Deff a game you want to play if you have a ps3. Trying to finish up some games before the new system drops.

You will like it I'm almost done the game. The way the characters and story plays out is great and the bonding of the characters amazing. I'm going to miss it when I'm finished because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Sadly after it's finished there is little notion to replay it as it's really about the story which you already experience your first playthrough.

Well I just finished it. Great game, can't believe we had to wait until the end of the ps3 life cycle to get something like this. I felt the ending was good, but kind of felt a little out there. But for some reason it fits with the whole story perfectly.

I could only stay away for a week after I finished the game the first time before I went back to play through it again. I enjoyed the game so thoroughly that when it ended and that week went by, I missed "being" in this world, so I had to go back.

If I had rushed through and not gone into every room scouring for parts and pieces too I would do the same. I may play it again before the ps4 hits. What is new game plus mode ?

I'd be happy if they made a sequel with Ellie as the main character. Simply making a sequel doesn't detract from the original if done right.

Sequels are so hard to make as good as the original. I'm for it but my experience with sequels isn't stellar. They either turn out good or mehh. Uncharted, that was different because it was a new adventure pretty much for each game. I'm going to have to read some more about the game since I too felt it had an abrupt ending. I think my total play time was somewhere around 14-15hrs.

Picked this game up at Gamestop (the buy 2 get one free deal ended up being better for me than the PS+ sale: $45 for TLOU, but the value of a free $45 game along with Beyond Two Souls).

Started it but didn't get much play time. Had to take the girl out for dinner on Saturday night and Sunday I do nothing except watch football.

So far it is decent enough. But, I have to be that guy; the only thing I hate more than movie kids are video game kids. =( And, the only thing I hate more than video game kids are real life kids. =(

your attitude about kids in video games will quickly change in this game as you play it more.

I highly doubt I will my disdain for children will subside because of a single video game kid. There are thousands of examples of why my bias exists. I just might not hate this game as much because of the kid. =)

There is a reason I prefer to go to high end restaurants and it isn't the food (although that is part of it). The atmosphere and lack of children makes it much more bearable.

Did a single person in this thread not at some point in here or other forums complain about Ellie at least once when they started playing this game? I am pretty sure we all did. So Smack trust us that by the time this game is over, you will love Ellie like she is your own baby girl.

Yea she is a fun video game kid/character. I feel like I would have enjoyed the game more if I had not known about the walking dead show haha.

But yea the random things she says are pretty interesting.

Does anyone really play the multiplayer for this game? I finished the campaign and was a little curious about the multiplayer but since none of my friends own this game I haven't really been motivated to jump in yet.

I went looking for everything. I ran through every room, making companions wait as I explored an entire house even when they were trying to progress.

The second play through, I did less of that, but I definitely didn't rush through either play through.

Finally gonna play this. Never had a PS3 all gen. I have an unopened PS4 ready to bust open on Xmas, but today got a decent deal on a PS3 (40 or 60 GB, not sure yet, for $100), so picking this up and will give it a whirl. It always bugged me that I hadn't played it, since I love the genre and the game got such incredible reviews. One of the pinnacle games of this gen.

Thats unfortunate. The game is just phenomenal. Better than anything you'll be playing on the new consoles for a while.

the last of us is better than any game out on ps4 or xbox1.

I guess I'm on my own with this, but I found the game to be... boring? Maybe I'm just not much of a single player kinda guy, but the combat wasn't all that impressive, the story was very good, but by itself it didn't do enough to keep me interested. I played maybe 1/3rd of the way through?


Perhaps I'll come back to it one day, but I'd much rather play some NBA or BF4 right now.
