Sorry no sex in this story, just another rip-off.
If you guys know how to work on cars, there is a 100% certainty eventually you will work on your GF's car. Now for sure there is some advantage here....you fix their car, maybe you can fix more important things....But you've got to know where to draw the line, and it can be a hard line to draw.
This girl was about 21, closest to a #10 I ever knew. She was living with her mother and 15 year old brother, cross town from me (thirty miles at least). She had this older big-block her last BF gave her. It ran ok and I had already told her I knew nothing about chevy's. She was taking it to local garages for work. About six months into our relationship, the car really acted up. It refused to start in the mornings 2-3 times a week. She had to walk to work, or call a taxi. Nobody could fix it. So I got involved.
It's winter, very cold. Strange thing here when she got home from work in the afternoon, it always started. I thought it had something to do with the temps...tried everything. Still wouldn't start sometimes in the morning. If she stayed overnight at my place it always started in the morning. WTF
I was beginning to think she was making up a story here, but her mother assured me it was true. Now she's wanting me to help her buy another car...NO WAY.
Well she finally figures it out all by herself....her little brother has figured out how to get in and start the car. He's been getting up early, removing the distributor rotor, letting his sister walk to work. Then he skips school, drives the car all day with his buddies. He forgot to fill the tank one time, she noticed. I could have killed the little POS.
About three months later, she calls me one afternoon. Seems her little brother, now 16, is driving the car with her permission. He has hit something, big hole in gastank. She wants me to fix it. I gather up my courage and say....If your brother is old enough to drive your car and wreck it, he's also old enough to get it fixed.
I'm not fixing it this time.......long silence, then click. I never spoke to or saw that woman again.
Moral...draw the line when it comes to women. But be aware it can be costly. Some women will treat you like a mechanic. If you can't fix their car, they're out of there.
