You think cause a technican cannot answer your question to the fullest that makes bashing the whole company as well as all the employess right? One of cornings main fiber plants (in corning NY, about 10 minutes from where i live) is laying off 600 of these...

local economy is hurting along with the national economy...

Beast, they were building a big new facility here in Nashua NH. Just announced in the local paper they were pulling the plug and laying off everyone they just hired. Nice big unfinished building going to sit there and rot. What a waste.

Kp99, where are you at? I'm at ZKO and managed to duck the axe so far.



edit: Just reread the article again, they hadn't hired anyone yet, but we lost a lot of jobs for the area.

KP, you are missing the point. Every single customer is important, every single tech support call is important. There is no business left when there are no customers left.

As a customer, the money I spend on a new PC is very significant, for most people it will be a months income or more. To then call up for help and to get substandard and non-caring &quot;support&quot; is a huge insult to my worth as your customer. I wont be back next time, my friends wont buy from you either, they will tell others...

Hmm, it seems many companies and their employees miss this point too....

I've been in those shoes myself. It still burns my a$$ off that my company got into trouble because a few of the poeple in it did not believe in doing the best job so that we would have satisfied customers and be competitive. They did their jobs to the minimum, and it was enough to wreck us.
