Parties will lean left and right but I've never heard an entire group identified as being 'left' or being 'right'. It's hilarious.
That's why other countries aren't as successful as the US. We have 2 groups, one are the Good Guys (the right) the other are bad guys (the left). The bad guys have to be stopped at all cost because what they want is anti-American, evil and goes against what our founding fathers wanted. If the bad guys get their way they will destroy this great nation. So we have to focus our efforts on destroying the enemy within...the liberals, the leftists, the educated elites, the atheists, muslims etc. before they ruin our country.
Your foreign systems are useless. Just a whole bunch of parties and politicians who stand for different things. Then they form into collations made up of a bunch of politicians from different parties, it's all a jumbled mess. Who is fighting who? Which is the good guy and which is the bad guy? Your systems don't make any sense!

Most middle class conservatives owe themselves an apology, for being chumps to the propaganda spoon fed them by their idols. That would require quite the epiphany, maybe something like the Great Depression. As it is, the Bush bailout avoided that, kinda-sorta, with the effect today being more like boiling a frog... Denial is still possible, something their leadership depends upon and strongly encourages.
