I also found it distasteful how they zoomed right in on Jordyn Wieber crying when she learned she didn't qualify. It would have shown more class to focus on the winners' celebration and then focus on Wieber after she composed herself.
I found it amusing that they were all "We're going to give her some time to compose herself before we interview her" but then they went and interviewed Raisman (or whatever her name is) while Wieber was standing 2 feet behind her.

our version would be like if pbs covered it....but that woulda required an act by congress or whatever. pay a reasonable fee, mandate that pbs is one of the ones to air the olympics, the other networks can bid, but since pbs already sets the bar far lower than what nbc would have been charged in the past and the fact that they would have to compete with them for viewers, the resulting bid price would be far more reasonable.
but congress is too retarded to do such a thing.
