off topic, but is there a website (even a paid service like hulu plus or amazon or other?) that will allow me to view all the different events/competitions in their entirety after they have already been completed? I think NBC has live streaming and recaps the highlights, but I'd really like to go back and watch those events I missed and not just a highlight reel...

The only event is soccer I think which wont end until the closing ceremonies, if they wanted to add two more official days they could, but other wise they just do the first (usually boring) round of soccer. Today was womens, tomorrow is mens.

Lot of crazy stuff like this coming out. Check out what the IOC copyright police have been up to. Slapping huge fines on anyone who isn't giving them a whack of money to even mention the games. Getting way out of hand. I might just end up "boycotting" these games like I did with the Beijing ones. I used to like watching the summer olympics but not anymore. Dull and over commercialized. No longer about amateur athletic excellence. I'll stick to the Winter games. It's dull and commercialized too but at least my country cleans at the podium.
