yep as i said a while ago race walking is harder then it sounds because you are basically running while keeping 1 foot on the ground at all times,

The first actually requires athletic ability. If actually watch the event you would see the athletes actually do very difficult maneuvers, that requires strength, flexibility, and agility.

The second is just balances some plates.

Does each contestant get a personal referee? If so, that seems like a bit of manpower to officiate an event.

It isn't athletic skills, learning how to balance is just coordination.

You people think this is simple to do: It takes a great deal of skill to do this. Remember she has to hold the ball at all times. Try to doing a hand stand, next try doing one while holding a ball with your feet. It isn't easy.
