I'm referring about Bolt calling himself a legend, etc... He lacks humility. I know it's a trait admired in some countries but we Canadians like athletes to remain humble even when they achieve greatness. Just think of Wayne Gretzky for example. Being this boastful and full of himself is so... American-like. I recognize that being a braggart may be more lucrative financially in terms of exposure for endorsements and publicity but humility is one of the reasons I preferred Joe Frazier to Muhammad Ali.

Pretty sure the entire Jamaican track team is on the juice. Johan Blake's tested positively before, as have two of Bolt's other teammates. Most, if not all, of top sprinters are probably dirty.

For example, let’s assume that a talented NCAA sprinter has a testosterone ratio (testosterone: epitestosterone) of 1:1 which is considered normal, or average. The current WADA guidelines permit a ratio of up to 4:1. Given the fact that the only way for an NCAA sprinter to make any money sprinting is to win international competitions and garner endorsements, what reason could that NCAA sprinter possibly have for NOT quadrupling his testosterone ratio up to the maximum of 4:1? Using a number of undetectable steroid compounds, that same athlete would presumably see a major improvement in his sprint times without ever ‘testing positive’.

LONDON, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Lithuania's Laura Asadauskaite took gold in the women's modern pentathlon on Sunday, storming to a convincing win in the combined shoot and run finale of the one-day event to bag the final medal of the Games.

Britain's Samantha Murray, who was in fourth place after the first three events of fencing, shooting and riding, took the silver to a deafening roar from the home crowd.

The nail-biting combined finale, in which athletes shoot at five targets before running 1,000 metres, a procedure they repeat three times, is making its Olympic debut in London. The events were previously held separately.

Brazil's Yane Marques, who had gone into the shoot and run on level points with world number one Asadauskaite, stormed to an early lead after the first shoot but fell behind in the running laps around Greenwich Park, eventually taking bronze.

Lithuania's Asadauskaite takes final gold.
