NBC owns the rights to the footage in the US AFAIK...so you gotta go to nbcolympics.com

Speaking of which, I still can't access the NBC Live Extra Olympics coverage using my FIOS TV credentials. Apparently I'm not alone in experiencing this problem either. Both Verizon and NBC are pointing the finger at each other.

Ok I'm a bit behind, but watching the girls olympics, and NBC sucks. The russian girl did her routine, tense moments waiting for her score to determine who gets the gold. Everyone is staring up at the scoreboard, waiting to see how the Russian did. NBC NEVER TELLS US HER SCORE. They just say, "Gabby gets the gold!" How contrived is this? What is really going on? I don't care for the selective editing. They seem to do this repeatedly, not showing the scores throughout the competition. Go to hell, NBC.

Women's archery final was pretty tense yesterday. If tied there is a final arrow shoot off and closest to center wins. I can't even imagine that pressure.

Someone mentioned field hockey earlier and I checked it out and it was pretty damn entertaining. Lots of fast paced action.

The men's judo final had a pretty sick takedown to win it. It was the equivalent of an immediate TKO and the guy won. Putin was happy.

NBC has ruined the Olympics for me. Imagine if they had the rights to the World Cup? You'd only see 1/4 of the games, almost all of it tape delayed, and the US would be everywhere.

I just watched that. That was really poor goalkeeping. She shouldn't have left the box unless she was sure she'd reach the ball before Morgan. Instead, Morgan got there first, put a touch past her and the keeper was diving feet first, studs up and the only reason she didn't get red carded was because she was knocked unconscious and the referee sympathized with her.

Still a nasty collision and I hope she's okay. She was out cold for a good 10-15 seconds.

Should have been a yellow card on the keeper and a free kick from the 20 yard line. Technically should be red, but probably not deserved considering the situation. Don't care if she used her face or her leg to take her out.
