The longest & hardest exam of my life is over... Only 12 hours long

I wish I could celebrate right now, but I'm so numb, mentally drained, and completely unsure of how I did, all I want to do is sleep for the next 48 hours...

the Bar Exam SUCKS.... Really really really hope this one a one time thing, guess I'll find out in a month...

I believe California is the most difficult in the US, followed by NY and FL (from what I've heard, don't quote me on that)

i finish most of my exams in less than an hour.

I seem to recall that CA is considered the second most difficult but I'm not sure which state it follows. I know the dean at Stanford Law failed it not too long ago.

Well i've heard CA is difficult because it has some form of practical or something? I dunno, just what I've heard through the grapevine...

I felt prepared for the exam, I was just shocked at how little they tested the "usual" subjects, and how much they hammered on the lesser topics... We didn't have a single Evidence question on the ENTIRE Florida portion of the exam, and its been tested every time for the past 9-10 years...

California exam was 18 hours - 6 essays (one hour each) , 2 performance tests (3 hours each) and 6 hours of multiple choice (in two sessions) - over three days. I finished both 3 hour sessions of the multiple choice in about 2 hours each - I love multiple choice!!!

I did a total mind bulimia on the Bar. I stuffed all that info into my head and dumped it all out on the exam. After that, I knew nothing again

Yah, there was a ton of people there.... Over 2000 people all taking it at once... When you look around the room its just a sea of nervous people....

not quite the mcats, i took the pcats, which was 4hours long. right after i walked out of the exam room i felt like i was 200lbs lighter.

My cousin passed the California BAR and flew out this week to take the NY one.

Some states have repricosity with others. Most do not (like California).

Day 1: 6 essays (.5 hour each)-- lunch-- 2 Practical Problems (1.5 hours each)
Day 2: 150 multiple guess-- lunch-- 150 multiple guess
Day 3: 6 essays (.5 hour each)

Not too bad but there are 6 state-specific essay topics

The worst thing is waiting about 3 months for results.

do u take the bar just once? or do you have to keep taking it to retain your license to practice law in that state?
