I think Mando breaking his creed and showing his save to save the child has eased off the rougher edge of his fanatic dogma. Now that they've walked it back not once but twice this season I think he'll probably have more breathing room storywise to show his face. That should make Pedro happy.

1. The Mandalorian (show with Pedro Pascal, season 3 coming Christmas 2021)
2. The Book of Boba Fett (movie or TV show)
3. Lando (show)
4. Ahsoka (show with Rosario Dawson)
5. Rangers of the New Republic (show, with speculation that Cara Dune & the two X-wing pilots will be in it)
6. Rogue Squadron (movie in 2023 from the Wonder Woman director, whose goal is to create "the greatest fighter pilot movie of all time")
7. Obi-Wan (show featuring both Ewan MacGregor & Hayden Christensen as Vader)

I'm curious what the writing style will be like. Really, my only complaint with Mandalorian is that the writing is pretty watered-down because it's aiming for Disney's children demographic, but is also trying to hit multiple age groups...the show itself is fun, but it's not really meaty enough for adults, and it's not quite enough to hold kid's attention either. People pretty much like it because it's Star Wars, because it's cool, because of Baby Yoda, etc. I love the music, the costumes, the CGI, etc. but I'm definitely craving more from the story! I'd love to see them do some 2-hour episodes as well, like really dig into the story. But like I said, sign me up for new Star Wars episodes every week for life! Haha.

I mirror those thoughts exactly.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and for me The Mandalorian is OK. It's cool to see original trilogy characters and such, but with it being a 35 minute independent show each week, they keep it easy to follow and PG13 for the kids.

There's been a few scenes here and there where they nail it, but those are not common. The whole

thing at the end where they made Moff Gideon a punk, and didn't allow Mando to hand off the Dark Saber "because powers and other nonsense" story was pretty lame. They pretty much turned Moff into Captain Phasma.

I really would like the Boba Fett series/movie/whatever to be rated R. Like HEAVY R. Just go all in and make it the first R rated SW thing. It seems like the right vehicle for it too and with MCU movies going R, maybe Disney is ready to take the plunge. Boba is a character most older fans are in love with... it seems the time is right.

Watch the making of the Mandalorian series (season 2 of that starts on Christmas day in fact). It was very interesting about how they used "The Cell" and gaming technology and concepts to churn out amazing effects on the cheap.
