And in CW she happily took it from Sabine when she was handed it. Now she's deciding to play by "the rules"?
I can tell I'm not a Star Wars fan, because I was having trouble staying awake for most of the episodes this season. Finale was good, albeit way too fanservice-y.
Well, the Star Wars universe is about fanservice. But back when Star Wars first came out it was somewhat unique. It took inspiration from many sources but thats all fiction. The movie itself was kinda original and the major studios passed on it because it was too weird and had no guarantee of success. It was surprisingly popular and 20th Century Fox milked it as best they could, ruining it, and now we just have this bloated mess to deal with.SW is all ABOUT fan service! lol
I thought it was awesome...I've accepted the fact that the story is watered-down for kids, but the music, costumes, etc. are all pretty dang cool, so I just roll with it now haha

Rich Evans said Hollywood is creatively bankrupt and he wasn't fucking wrong.
There's nothing particularly original in The Mandalorian either, but at least its fun.
Dont flip on your TV for intellectual stimulation.
You want that, crack open a book.
Better late than never!season 3 finally started! only 800 days after season 2 got over.
I was unable to stay interested in Book of Boba Fett and Obi Wan Kenobi. Mandalorian writers are clearly doing SOMETHING better. The Mandalorian has fantastic production value, but for most of us watching it, we wish there was more meat in the story for as a more mature Star Wars audience.

Great ideas!I wonder if they'd do better doing separate live-action movies for kids (ex. "Adventures of Grogu") & then meatier live-action movies for adults (like a Western-style take on the Mandalorian).
Great ideas!
They should hire you as a consultant
I would definitely watch that if condensed into 2hrBoba Fett was the slowest show I've seen in awhile. I hope someone does a fan-edit & turns it into a 2-hour movie or something.

can't download.Have you seen the Tolkein Edit for the Hobbit? They took all 3 Hobbit movies & condensed them into a single 4-hour mega-movie and it's FANTASTIC!

Same with the Star Wars prequels...someone did a fan-edit & released the Phantom Edit, which took our Jar Jar Binks, and it made it a MUCH better movie! I'd like to see someone do that for the first season of Jessica Jones too, as the last few episodes were fantastic, but it took me a really long time to get through like the first 9 or 10 episodes.
It's too much actually. Just an edit of Fett's fights is all one needs. Rest is crap. Who cares why Fett does what he does? We just wanna see him win!I would definitely watch that if condensed into 2hr
Wow. I didn't experience that. Maybe coz I loved the actress so much in that role.I'd like to see someone do that for the first season of Jessica Jones too, as the last few episodes were fantastic, but it took me a really long time to get through like the first 9 or 10 episodes.
Agreed, and I can only hope that the writing for the Ahsoka series with Rosario Dawson leans more towards the style of Mando as opposed to Fett or Kenobi's shows.I was unable to stay interested in Book of Boba Fett and Obi Wan Kenobi. Mandalorian writers are clearly doing SOMETHING better.

It's "Star Wars". Always some underlying christian crap in star wars. Even Vader, who killed millions and killed even children was redeemed in the end when he re-found jesu.....I mean, the force.- Eh the story for the show was just fundamentally broken.
Boba Fett didn't even act like Boba Fett in his own show. He was more Fett in S2 of the Mandalorian (or whenever he was introduced). Why be a crimelord (of like 5 guys) and then never actually commit any actual crime? Why not just make him a sheriff-esq character if that's what he actually is, or make him an actual scoundrel that the story calls for?
I'm really sick of Disney's "no one's really a bad guy" milquetoast BS.
Andor, for example, was such a good show I couldn't even believe it was a Disney/Star Wars thing. The bad guys were actually interesting and competent, as were the good guys.
Those edits were big improvements, they removed not just Jar Jar but most of the fluff awkward romance scenes between Anakin and Padme in the 2nd and 3rd movies, and just cleaned up the flow and pace a bit.Same with the Star Wars prequels...someone did a fan-edit & released the Phantom Edit, which took our Jar Jar Binks, and it made it a MUCH better movie!
I also like the 'Harmy's Despecialized Edits' for the original trilogy. It takes out all the extra nonsense that Lucas had added to the originals in the specialized editions. I really didn't like the changes that he made, and prefer the original theatrical releases.
Admittedly, Empire had the better additions. I actually liked the clearer shots of the Wampa in the cave on Hoth, for example. There were just a few scenes in New Hope and RotJ that really bothered me, like the Mos Eisley scene in New Hope with Jabba, and the Jabba's palace scene in Jedi. Uggghhh, they were terrible IMO.I did like some of the specialization of The Empire Strikes Back. Particularly when Vader returns to his ship, when he leaves the transport ship he is exhausted after fighting Luke on Bespin.
