I guess you aren't afraid of DrPizza

Those edits were big improvements, they removed not just Jar Jar but most of the fluff awkward romance scenes between Anakin and Padme in the 2nd and 3rd movies, and just cleaned up the flow and pace a bit.
I also like the 'Harmy's Despecialized Edits' for the original trilogy. It takes out all the extra nonsense that Lucas had added to the originals in the specialized editions. I really didn't like the changes that he made, and prefer the original theatrical releases.
Yeah I have 4K77 and 4K83 versions as well. Good stuff.Silver Screen Edition (my favorite of them all) and 4K77, 4K83 is where it's at.
What was cool about that?
What was cool about that?
Making Kenobi look like a cowardly pussy?
Or Vader being so lame that he can't detect a Jedi's presence? (though he may further ahead. Haven't seen it. I think I stopped at Ep2)
Get the Silverscreen tooYeah I have 4K77 and 4K83 versions as well. Good stuff.
-Kenobi was hot garbage honestly on the same level as BoBF. It didn't need to happen, and when it did happen it didn't need to happen the way that it did. The whole thing was a very poorly constructed vehicle to get Obiwan and Vader to fight again, and even that was executed as badly as it possible could have been.
I can't believe the kind of money spent on this show, then it looks and feels like something from UPN 20 years ago with schlocky dialogue, sassy child actors, cramped sets that look like they were filmed in the dirt lot behind someone's development, cheap sets and costuming.
It was so simple: small quiet story about Ben Kenobi slapping down a Tusken Warlord or Tatooine Crimelord that posed a threat to luke without drawing attention to the fact that he was Jedi, if anything at all.
Instead we get what was obviously supposed to be a Sequel Trilogy tier 1.5 hour dump of a movie watered down and down and down till we end up with a 7 hour shit tier series. I mean did anyone think about how ridiculous the whole scene with Leia running away from her kidnappers would look? The frankly farcical "kid under a trenchcoat" escape from the inquisitor fortress? Vader has been hunting Obiwan forever but 5 feet of fire stops him from pursuing Obiwan after their initial confrontation (Did he forget he can use the Force)?
And then Obiwan, after being perfectly willing to leave Anakin to die on Mustafar... just walks away at the end after defeating Vader AGAIN, tacitly becoming responsible for every horrible thing Vader would do from the end of this series to the start of ANH.
I honestly couldn't believe what I was watching was greenlit and then people actually really went through the effort to put all that together and at no point stopped and said "are we making pure garbage?"
Once upon a time I would have said Disney and SW was a match made in heaven, but now I think its the other place. Good SW content is a fluke, not the norm or seemingly even the goal.
Wow. I didn't experience that. Maybe coz I loved the actress so much in that role.

I watched the first episode of season 3. It kind of seemed like it sucked to me. I didn't watch the Book of Boba Fett because I don't really care much about Boba Fett and I'm not really a huge SW fan. I liked the Mandalorian S1-S2 though. So I'm immediately annoyed and think I must have accidentally missed a season (it apparently has been like 2 years since last season so I think I can be forgiven here) because I can't figure out why Grogu is back with him or why there's like 50 dudes in his Mando clan when last I recall they were almost completely wiped out. I don't even really remember him getting that ship he has. I'm not watching 100 different star wars shows just to keep up with one of them. I tried watching Obi-wan but bailed after about 3-4 episodes. They didn't even give a 10 cent "previously on a show you didn't know you were suppose to watch" intro. The only thing in the intro was the the armorer giving him an honor restoration quest, which then happened in the episode itself 5 minutes later anyway.
Then just kind of dumb stuff happens. The guy running the old planet has two droids carrying his cloak which makes him look like a spoiled bum, so they have to have him quick draw waste a guy to undo the damage they did. The space pirates of the caribbean seemed like complete idiots and were apparently there so Mando had some one to stomp on this episode. Then he insists on resurrecting that dead droid which doesn't make sense. What kind of self destruct sequence leaves the torso and head intact? It seems weird and perverse to make a hero's corpse into a statue. And then defile his corpse further by trying to make a frankenstein monster out of it.
Omfg it's been that long???? Since Dec 2020????season 3 finally started! only 800 days after season 2 got over.
Omfg it's been that long???? Since Dec 2020????
I honestly thought that season 2 last episode was last year. 😳😳😳
Oh man where has time gone? I just watched the episode last night and I found it odd that yoda is back with Mando. Like wtf happened???
Watch Book of Boba Fett to find out.Like wtf happened???

well book of boba fett and obi wan were in the meantime, so that made me not feel like it had been that long
neither of those was as good as the mandalorian, but the last 3 or 4 episodes of book of boba fett had important mando crossover material from season 2 to season 3
Their choice of actor was also weird. I always envisioned him as lean and muscular, not old and bulky.Fett felt like an afterthought in his own show.

Felt like the whole reason that series even existed is to give us a bit more Mando, Fett felt like an afterthought in his own show.
Yeah. That's not the Boba Fett I've read about in the SW novels.but they kinda went overboard with the dude being too beat up by everyone
