I was impressed the guy did the bounce off the wall and planted the kick with the same leg.
I agree.

That is what my wife asked me last night. You cannot hold on to it, using it however, is taught in every MMA gym. You can "wall walk" it to get back to your feet. Use it to catch you, keep a guy from getting your back, push off for a superman punch, push off to help you get out of a bad position on the ground, and more.Wow.. didn't think it was legal to use the cage like that.
He is one of my favorite fighters. He is good wherever the fight goes, and attacks from angles. Most fighters use a MT methodology i.e. pretty squared up, moving forward, tough as nails and looking to win a war of attrition, mentality. What are people's thoughts on Dominic Cruz? His style can be fun to watch but can get a bit stale after five rounds. He also ended up not being able to pounce after scoring a knockdown because he ended up way out of position. great head movement though.
Do you really want to beat that dead horse?you one of those people who say MMA is equivalent to a real life fight?

There are rules, a good number of them, that says everything, anyone intelligent enough to read this, needs to know, in order to answer the question.

I bolted upright and started bouncing on my couch like a school girl when Pettis landed that. Had he connected more with his shin I think it would have been a KO. He single handedly ended the existence of the WEC on a high note. I wanted Smooth to win but it's hard not to like Pettis after that fight and especially that kick.

Really? I wonder who invented using vehicles for races? No. The Cello isn't a sport.
I quite like Formula 1, not really a "replacement for war and true combat"
