They did a genre jump from their old prog metalish sound..but I like their new stuff more. I really loved this album when it came out

If you want to see something really funny though, search for their accoustic live version of this song..with them all in death metal get ups...

That isn't nu-metal. It's more of industrial metal -- the rest of the album is much more prog-rockish.

Thus why i hate when ppl say "they hate nu-metal" because everyone interprets everything that isn't "twiddly - singing and/or screamo" to be nu-metal, which isn't the case.

As for the looks...I thought she was trying to be more like Marilyn Manson ;p

and this is why peoples opinions of music can't be trusted. That is not at all what nu-metal is (in my mind).

I absolutely love her voice. Thanks for turning me on to this band. I still have to actually listen to their discography, see if it's really for me, so far I was just quickly digging through youtube videos of their songs. The mix so far is, eh... so good, some quite boring or generic. I might keep listening to this group, or I might end up forgetting/ignoring them. That's how I am with bands of this and similar genres - some seem so generic compared to everyone else, some seem to have a unique spin/spunk to it all.

Her being smoking hot and carrying an awesome voice for the genre, is definitely going to encourage more listens.
