The Mets Current Pitcher is wearing the wrong uniform!

the team is wearing their away uniform that says "New York" on the front...he is wearing their home uniform that says "Mets"!

edit: for those that didnt see it, he is not pitching anymore

I noticed it...cause i am currently wearing the Mets one and when i saw it on him i was thinking to myself, hmmmm thats weird i guess cause they both are in NY they are both wearing home jerseys, but then i saw the other players

i guess the umps or yankees didnt notice because im sure there is a rule against it

NEW YORK -- If the clothes make the man, the New York Mets were in trouble Sunday night.

Catcher Tom Wilson and reliever Jose Parra were forced to wear different jerseys than their teammates for the second game of a day-night doubleheader against the Yankees because the Mets didn't bring along the correct ones.

The Mets wore gray uniforms for the opener, an 8-1 loss. For the night game, they wore black jerseys with "New York" across the chest. Wilson and Parra wore jerseys in the night game that had "Mets" on it in script, a shirt used for home games.

Even after the game, Wilson was unaware he had been dressed differently.

"I had no idea," he said.

I've worn the wrong color jersey for games before. Teammates had to tell [laugh at] me until I realized. You just never look at yourself and compare... so how would you know ? You just grab what you brought...
