I have been lucky with them, owned a S754 K8N Neo Plat and a S939 K8N NEO Plat 2, sold both machines and they are still working solid to this day, not a single problem.
The mod who posted this on a manufacturer's forum must be insane. To post something that is so unprofessional and insulting about their customers is unforgiveable, even if it is a joke.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone gets sued, since MSI's reputation has been irrevocably damaged. At the very least MSI need to post a formal apology and have the mod banned.

I don't blame the guy one bit for posting it. Hell, if he was just a tad professional, used some tact, I bet they could have stickied his post and made it a 'READ THIS THREAD FIRST' sort of post.
Same no more MSI products for me, horrible customer service and horrible quality parts.
I have had 2 MSI boards fail on me, and a 3rds NB fan just stopped after 2 years. I also had a Bare bone laptop from them with many issues.. horrible quality.
At the very least they will pick the company without the hostile customer service department.You don't blame the guy one bit but I'm sure MSI is real mad because they will surely have lost sales. You give a customer two boards, the same price. They'll buy the one that doesn't have a tracking chip. Of course, the tracking chip isn't real but they saw that post on the MSI forums!
